Hello!
So I was one of the unfortunate people online that discovered the Dell XPS laptops have a small but significant design flaw. That being the inset keyboard is low enough as to allow the glass (and whatever coating is on it) to contact the lower body of the laptop. This caused my first laptop to develop a significant scratch across the screen after maybe a week or so.
Very annoying, for the cost of this laptop.
Thankfully this has been replaced, and it led me to pop these little rubber bumpers (from Amazon) on the lower half, just providing that extra protection from any unwanted screen damage in transport.
This has, for me, basically solved the issue. And the rubber bumpers don't cause any other issues or get in the way of the laptop being used in any way.
Hopefully this video can benefit someone out there!
Thanks for watching!
