My wife just completed her first successful flat top on my hair today, after watching this video and following it along while she cut my hair. I have to thank you for this, as the last 4 attempts have turned into trainee cuts. This one looks great! Take care.
I’m a license cosmetologist, I love doing men’s cuts! High and tights are my specialty. Yet for the life of me, I cannot seem to get the hang of a flat top!! Not that I get many requests for them, but still!! I hate that I can’t seem to grasp how to do them! You made this look so easy!! I also really love your attention to detail too!! Many of my clients have told me they love that about me. They love that I take my time to make sure they look good when they leave my chair!
Great video and much appreciated. Quick question if I may: did you rest the comb directly on the apex, or do you have the comb slightly raised above in that area? I'm always worried that I will take it too short at the apex lol
I've a question for you. If you lived in a small town with only two barbers. What had his hair all messed and chopped to shit, and the other had a perfect cut which one would you go to?
great job, Can't hear you with the mask on. I like how you didn't put lines in that you have to take out, I like that it's not a zero fade & all bald. Seems like you did most of your work from the front. I've tried both, front to back, side to side and I still haven't mastered the cut. Doesn't anybody use Osters anymore. I notice most the tutorials use magnetic clippers.
This was difficult hair to work with, and deserving of a short Crew cut. The crown of the head sould have received a zZ Zer=Zero Zz, along with a shaven Landing strip with the obligatory HNT 'White Walls'., would have been a more exciting and drastic solution. A Southside Fade, with only a small crescent of Crew cut hair above the forehead really is 'The Must Have' haircut for this man.
This is a great flattop. I think this is a hard haircut to make work on everyone. This guy has a good head shape and hair that makes it work. I don’t think a longer flattop would look nearly ass good on him. Good job!
@@houseofshavesbarbershop thanks! For the price of them, they should be a bit more quiet! Lol. Eventually, I'd like to get a cordless clipper. Stay safe , barber brother!

@@carlosdcm2424 I meant nothing bad with my comment but somehow the cut itself seems typical for state troopers and maybe that's why i don't dig it. Anyways keep up the good work with love from Slovenia!
