So true sir my dad's Vietnam corman flat top to the right of me has a landing strip this gentleman forgot that if he went to school at Virginia pharaoh hit know that if he was trained by the military he would know that but hes doing this joker's hair cops only steel are a valor by wearing our candies trying to wear our haircuts I wish they would just wake up and realize you're not good enough to defend the whole country You're not even able to defend your cities right without killing people But imitation is the ultimate for my flattery So It's like people dressing as spider man and Batman Juana bees instead of training yourself teissuously that's where greatness lies and that's how you become a marine not a wanna be like this jackas Simplify don't support cops they've been stealing our valor for decades In this respecting us when we get home Who's your real hero who really gave you freedom that's what I thought USM Lance Corporal bell boedigheimer here ohraaaa
I've a question for you. If you lived in a small town with only two barbers. What had his hair all messed and chopped to shit, and the other had a perfect cut which one would you go to?
In this video, mostly Andis BGRc with a battery on it instead of the plug. I don't think they make the battery anymore. The newer cordless Andis rotary motor clippers are the Supra models. And they are super nice.
My dad's flat top to the right of me when he was with me and Marine Corps training in Aberdeen Maryland You did a good job but I wish people would stop stealing ourmoring core are slogans are cammies are haircuts I don't know why people in civilian jobs like cops wanna debow everything that we create just a bunch of wannabe's but sir you did a good job you just missed the landing strip down the center that is one key to a true Vietnam core flattop As a hairstylist of girls guys Of all different From 1A to 4C I can see you never went to Virginia Farrell for hair but you still did good I give you An ohhraaa But The Joker in the seat if he aint a veteran and hes a cop stop trying to be a wannabe You'll never have what it takes to be a United States marine let alone a veteran we fight for freedom give civilians freedom where you take their lives and jeopardize them 2 different fields stop trying to look like us but I guess imitation is the ultimate form of flattery It's OK go ahead and cut that 1 to be here even dogs need a haircut
I am a barber of 40+ years. Nice job on this person . Its not to often you see a the perfect head for a flat top. And it looks like he keeps it up great. There is nothing like giving a person a flat top every six months ( or longer). I know you like just water, but now that Krew Comb is gone what do you use for a product if you do use it? Plus do you find with that wide toothed flat top comb that it can look a bit choppy when you cut parallel to the comb? Like i said, a very nice job...
Nice cut, but I don’t allow clients to munch on gum during their cut. It’s like trying to cut hair during an earthquake, and blending is impossible when the parietal ridge is bobbing up and down with chewing .
@@slimthebarber Thanks! Ive been practicing for 6 months now and noticeable improvement! Mostly in how much time it takes to cut his hair 😂 Used to take me ages
Relatively new barber here (a couple years into the trade). I did not get very many reps with these cuts in school, so I really appreciate the tips and instructions. Could be the best flattop I've ever seen as well....great job!
dude I live in Florida Orlando and I cant find a single place that can cut, they when you call them tell you yes we can do a flat top, but let me tell you, in 6 months I have walked out of the shops without paying. Its so disappointing.. and it has gotten so bad that I would make trips up north just to get my hair cut
I go to a barber that 70 years old and he still don’t know how to cut a flat top he never cuts my hair the same way twice and I always say I’m never going back I have to come home and fix the screw ups myself but there’s no changing an older dog you can tell him all you want but you’re the customer you don’t know anything fact is I get better flat tops than he does learned cutting hair in military 25 cents my barberAnd I use that term very lightly never inspects his work never never shows you his work I don’t believe he’s ever been to barber school and I will never go back again if my hair gets to be as long as Simpsons I will never go back again
If there’s a line, you can see, I can 100% say I choose shape over fade on a flat top all day every day. And having said that, heads without wrinkles or divots are usually perfectly fade just by the shaping of the flat top. If the flat top does not appear to be faded, it’s usually an issue with the skin, head or lighting.
Guys, im gonna make 21yo at august, and i love this job, i would like to start, starting by buying all the stuff a barber need, and work on my parents and some friend, spending much time everyday watching the technics on RU-vid. What do you think about?
Cuts like a boss, this cut shows how to not go so short that you ruin the entire head on top . Can’t rush this type of cut nor get cocky in your ability!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
One of the Hardest Cuts to Learn. I usually cut Flat Tops Free Hand, only do Clipper Over Comb if it's absolutely necessary. Comes out Perfect Everytime!
@@slimthebarber I usually just snap on a #2 or #1.5 for the sides and back, go straight up the sides since those sizes are the most common. Stand the hair up on top and I'll just take a #000 and skim it over the top free hand til you get to the crown, snap on the #2 or #1.5 and round the crown out so that meets into the flat point I cut with the #000. Saves alot of time! When I first started cutting hair, it took me about 30-40 mins to perfect a Flat Top, now I can do them in 7-10 mins depending on hair types. I still get the Old Timers who are mostly bald but still want to get the Flat Top with whatever hair is left on top which makes it tough cause you can only take it so short for it to even look like a Flat Top
@@JoshBG20 Thanks, man. That was kind of my plan. I will try it. Do you have any videos of you doing it? Love to see it. I'm going to have to find someone who will let me try and I'll record my first try.
Thankyou for this great video. I've spent years trying to find a hair stand-up product; waxes, gels, glues and cements, that would work without undesirable effects of one kind or another. Now I know the answer: No product at all, just proper technique! Thanks again!
I hope it helps. Sometimes if I get someone whose hair just doesn't want to stand up, usually because they were a tight hat al the time, I spritz the hair with water and add some foam shave cream to the hair before the blow dry.
