Soft, fluffy, and fragrant Italian Panfocaccia ( or Focaccia Bread) is one of the most amazing food you can have in the Bella Vita country. Making Focaccia is so easy and pairing it with some pesto, cold cuts, and cheese, is probably one of the true joys of life. This really reminded me of the Antico Vinaio sandwich, although I had something similar at Mazzaro's in St Pete, very close to where I'm currently living. Let's make it together.
Ingredients:
- 470g Warm Water
- 12g Salt
- 25g Olive Oil
- 550g Bread Flour ( 4 cups)
- 2g Dry Yeast
- 5g Diastatic malt

Someone else has mentioned artistry. The way you shoot and present the recipe is undoubtedly what sets these recipes apart. I can watch alot of formulaic videos of focaccia and not be inspired to make it. This inspires me though! 🥪🥪🥪

@@sandrasomewhere probably because of the yeast. Usually (at least to my taste): - sourdough: chewy - dry yeast: either fluffy or crispy depending on how you bake it.

@@MileZeroKitchen Acetic Acid (i.e. Vinegar) is the exact same byproduct of long fermentation which sours a dough, and I've tried it when I've been pressed for time and want to add some character to a dough and it works (I've seen others add beer, but I think that's a mistake). Just a thought for an experiment and maybe a future video ✌️

One of the best sandwiches in the world is the “Paradiso” from “All’Antico Vinao” This is basically the same sandwich but it’s on focaccia and not schiacciata bread.

You use a "robust" olive oil - what do you mean by robust? Flavour or harder working ie not extra virgin? This is going to be on my bake this weekend, possibly in the Dome.
