Easy fruit dessert 

I've made this many times , but I use boxed cake mix yellow, a can of pie filling whatever kind you like with pats of butter on the top not soda.

Guys, I know we all have different tastes, and some of these recipes don’t appeal to everyone, but this IS a real, trued & true recipe. This is a “dump” dessert, and there are entire cookbookS dedicated to those! I’ve seen it made from thawed berries, fresh berries, and even canned (watch the added sugars). She uses cookie mix instead of cake mix, and that’s perfectly fine.. the ingredients are nearly the same, just the quantity is less in the cookie mix. Plus, she omits all the additional stuff the mix calls for. The 7up (or any type of soda that matches the coke/cake mix & fruit) is awesome in this type of dessert! The carbonation makes it rise! There’s a 7up biscuit recipe that some of you guys should try! Yes, it’s popular and also in cookbooks, and I love it. To each his own, but I’ve read a lot of comments on RU-vid that compliment them, as well. Thank you for sharing. Have an awesome Sunday! (If anyone is lost, I’m writing this on 5/7, a Sunday).

Looks like a great idea, but a little too much liquid in the bottom. I'd rather have less liquid there or it kinda thicken like a filling.

I used to have a pie crust recipe that used 7-up. When I made cherry pie I’d use the cherry 7-up and it would turn pink. Wonder if I can find that again?

I suggest to mix the cookie dough and soda (or liquid of choice) to a thick consistency and then poor or spread it over top of the fruit layer. This way, you can avoid eating the uncooked cookie mixture at the top.

What happens to the recipe if you cut the soda in half? Seems like a lot of liquid afterwords.

Your frozen fruit is it 1 pound bags or 2 pound bags

When you say greased should use cooking spray or use crisco

Mango's to me have a sappy after taste, maybe not so much in this dish. I'd use rhubarb instead.
