I made it for my wife. She does a little dance and I know it is good. I drizzed caramel syrup over it. I seen people use aluminum foil to protect the edges so they dont get overly cooked. I think practice makes perfect. So I'll do more in the future to fine tune it. Thank you for sharing it. It takes work and courage to put yourself out here, but it helps folks like me who are trying new things out. Much love and appreciation.

You did good just a tip always pre-bake the bottom layer so the top won’t brown as much… ☺️☺️ I personally don’t like store bought dough since it’s so easy to make homemade and that’s how I was taught but you did an amazing job looked good! ☺️☺️

Next time poke some holes on the bottom half of dough it helps vent and make it crispy like top use a fork. Also pre bake before adding filling. Be careful with the egg because it will scramble if you put on to much. What is really good is cookie crumble like you would for cobbler. Other then that amazing job

Cinnamon is keyyyyyy. To be honest I this that the apple pie would have tasted much better with the cinnamon in it. Second, nuts would be nice too, especially if you would caramelize them. When you added the egg wash, I would have sprinkled some brown sugar on the crust. When the pie was ready, whipped cream and caramel on top would have taken it to the next level. But this is all just my personal preference. I love watching your videos by the way!

What I was doing wrong was I should have cooked the apples first as you did in your video. Well, today - I am a happy person. My apple pie came out perfect, thanks to your video. HOORAY!! It is a great pie recipe. The only thing that I would suggest is to tell people how long you left the pie in the oven. This is important for people who are learning how to cook or bake I.e. children, adults with learning disabilities. It was a great tutorial and my daughter enjoyed it very much. Your new biggest fans.

Hi Trinity. Thank you so much for the recipe. My girlfriend and I attempted to make this today. It came out decent. You didnt mention when to put the cider in the video. We tested the filling before the cider and after. We preferred it without. Next time we make it we won't put it in.

You should try lifting all of one side of the lattice crust and then weaving it through to make it easier :) also if you want an even browning you can take some foil around the crust edges towards the end of baking so it doesnt burn. Lastly I like to blind bake the crust to make sure its not undercooked/soggy. No soggy bottoms! Not a professional, just a home baker too🤗
