This is the best instruction for bass I've seen on RU-vid! I suffered a brain injury and am relearning bass all over again and Yonit is a very patient uncomplicated teacher.
I just wondered if muscle memory helps you relearn more quickly. Do you think that might be helpful? I don't know if muscle memory remains for a longer time, but I'd think so, as is the case with cycling or sports right?
Most underrated bass guitar training channel - You're a master artist, teacher and mentor. 1 video and I can see this in 4 minutes of the video. I don't even have a guitar yet, but I'll be back with it, when I do, to train with you! Thank you!!
I've been playing acoustic guitar for 8 years now and just lately have been finding myself drawn to the bass. Bought my first electric bass this afternoon, and had this down by this evening. Thank you!!
Thank you for posting your materials. I'm new to bass playing which I've taken up as a hobby. Self learning is difficult, however, selfless musician as you have made learning and accessibility much easier and doable. I appreciate your efforts and time to upload these materials.
Very good lesson. I like the explanations, the tabs, backing track and the groove itself is actually fun to play. I'm a beginner at bass and this is right up my alley.
You are my favorite bass teacher. 💙 I love your lessons. They make a bassist out of you no matter who you are. (I used to play guitar) Thank you for all this bass knowledge.
I'm not sure why anyone would dislike this vid . Everything here is exactly how you learn a Bassline . Break it down speed it up and piece each part together .
this is incredible,i bought a bass during lockdown with every intent of learning and went hard on tabs but i didnt get any of the theory. Then along came this and changed the game, this is tutor level stuff and is incredibly informative down to timing and scale. thankyou so much you have gotten me over a huge bump in my desire to play. supreme 10/10
As a guitar player I've recently bought a short scale Jackson minion bass which helped with fret positioning and your videos have helped me a lot. Thanks for making my bass journey a little easier. 🎸
Brilliant! Thank you so much for sharing. I have just started playing Bass again after 35 years and this is the easiest, least confusing lesson that I have found in 2 weeks of searching. Took me only 15 minutes to get in in my head, now I just need to make it sound good.
Thank you for sharing valuable lessons for beginners. This funky groove is exactly why I started to learn the bass ! I am definitely following your work :)
Beautiful, thank you!!! I feel guilty because I was about to comment the tabs were wrong. Lucky me I thought it was too strange and waited the paired sheet at the end were everything made sense. Thank you again.
It's a cool groove . I've been playing almost 10 months and can hack it now . 2 months in nooot as well at full speed . Good stuff . I like how it has that funky staccato feel .
Not even sure if this is right but here’s my two cents. Not absolutely needed if your like to just casually play but at the end of the day the more the merrier, yes it’ll be harder initially to integrate the pinky but it’s helpful to have an extra digit to have further range and be able to use is for muting
