Thank you Becky. I bought some water colors pencils some time ago and did not know how to use them. I’m going to try and creat this still life at home and draw/paint it.
I love Inktense pencils. I'm going to use them more in my work. I have entered my 4th sketch in my book. I'm getting better. Humans and perspective remain my current challenges. Since watching you draw bottles, I'm getting better with those items. Thank you. 😊
Thank you Linda. I think every artist have personal preferences of using shade colors. I enjoy mixing my own with ultramarine and purple because every time it looks a bit different. Paynes gray is a popular color, and I think I will try it one day (I don't have this color in my Etchr palette). ☺️
I would love to look at the real objects when you are sketching so I can learn how you observe them! Maybe you can put it at the bottom left corner. Thanks for the sharing! Would love to learn more
Thank you. In the beginning of the video, I always show the scenery/objects in full screen for a few seconds. Some people like to take a screenshot, or take a photo of the screen. :)
@@margaretpolly3381 fine... moving past what she used my question still stands. I see a lot of artists do it & I wanna know how to be successful. I ruined a great painting attempting something I tried to mimic.
Hi there, I think you need to wait for the bottom layer to dry completely before you add the shade color on top. If it's still wet, the two layers will merge and cause muddiness. Patience is needed here. ☺️
