Good tip: if you’re using water activated liners, use a good eye primer before and powder after to make it last longer. It’s water activated so they’re ready to wear out❤️ OH YEAH ALSO! To get them symmetrical, do each eye step by step. You make a line on your left eye, do the same on your right. But also remember to fix it up with concealer at the end as with some hooded eyes the skin folding over can by different for each eye. One could be lower and the other higher. So doing step by step then cleaning up making it sharp helps!
I used to do my eyeliner so similarly to your final look!! I also love to add a little extra upside down wing in the outer corner underneath the normal one, making a sort of half butterfly on each eye. Its adorable!
my favorite thing to do is use an eyebrow pen that turned out to not be the right color for me to sketch out my eyeliner before i go in with my black liner. also just doing it step by step, every line i make on one eye, i mirror it on the other eye and fill them in when the outline is done
first eyeliner starts at 5:00 min (start with your difficult eye); next just have a steady hand and draw another line at 10:00 min (no tipp, just do it)

To me hooded means you can't see the upper lid at all, you have average visibility of the lid. People think this is hooded because of the overedited makuep pics where they lift the brows to the hairline
You do NOT have hooded eyes… People now think that if you don’t have like two inches of lid space and your eyes aren’t brow lift level open that means that your eyes are hooded, which is not the case…
I’m sorry to argue with you, but she very clearly has hooded eyes. People’s eyes can be more or less hooded than others’. There is a hood that folds over her eyelid a bit causing eyeliner “done the normal way” to not work for her. And, respectfully, it isn’t your job to tell other people what their eye shape is or isn’t. Hope this helps! Take care.
@petrichor5837 I agree, my eyes were similar when I was younger, they have just gotten lower over the years with age she obviously has hooded eyes like you said where she puts liner on x 😊
@CrystalLindy yes you do, they're pretty much identical to mine bit I'm a little older! You look beautiful I love those liner styles and definitely going to try some, I have been wearing cat eyes for 37 years since I was 11, so I definitely want to try new styles.
