Rules for no-yellow / silver shampoo: the darker it is (purple) the more effect it has. The hair needs to be pale yellow tho, like Level 9 at least, otherwise there will be no effect. If your hair turns out green-ish, the shampoo used was probably a cheap shitty one and / or blue instead of purple. I recommend fanola. Rules for no-orange shampoo: This one is blue, also the darker the greater the effect. No-orange Shampoo is suitable for orange-ish hair or Level 8 blonde. Keep in mind: it can always stain the hair. The more porous / damaged the hair, the greater risk of getting splotches. Also keep in mind: These shampoos do NOT lighten the hair. It puts pigment around the hair cancelling the original colour out. Light hair will appear a tad darker after usage, especially if it's a "heavy duty" shampoo with lots of pigment.
Yh did then i had yellow hair and it also went kinda green . Its a good job it washes out in a few washes . Its need more pink init to work “purple” shampoo is always too blue

For me the best purple/silver shampoo I have ever used was from Schauma Silver Reflex. It is super pigmented and it works pretty well. I have platinum blonde highlights and they are pretty silvery and healthy even after first wash. So I do recommend you to try that❤.
think best thing you could a done is maybe bleach/bleach bath your roots/mids as there greeny purple old colours an dark yellow may help with more even toning next times ❤ it still turned out pretty nice though compared to other side ❤ I'm excited to see what colours you end up dyijg it maybe Halloween colours? 🧡💚💜🖤
When I had blonde hair I used to put the fanola one on dry hair for like 30 mins and it would work amazing, I read online somewhere that it works more like a toner than way so I only did it if my hair was extra brassy/yellow If your hair is really dead it’ll be really porous tho so it would most likely make your hair a bit purple if you did that
Most silver shampoos contain too much blue pigment to turn a true yellow into a blonde. That's why many women who use silver shampoo very frequently have a green tinge in their hair. And your roots are probably not porous enough to make the shampoo's pigments grab enough to even cancel out the slightest bit of it, plus it's too bright of a yellow to be cancelled out by silver shampoo.

So what I see from this shampoo ingredients is that it has 2 different tones of blue (which neutralizes orange) and only one tone of purple (which neutralizes yellow) as you hair was like 03 (very light yellow) you should better try to use conditioner on your length, cuz 1st thing is that it was just light purple (which is enough for your base) and also these kind of shampoo mostly for the roots and pre roots areas, and conditioners for length, so that is why you could see that your hair start having a greenish color to it. “The darker purple shampoo the better it will work” doesn’t necessarily work like this, cuz you have to chose a matching toning/ neutralizing color according to the base/color that you have I hope that this small explanation will help you in future ❤ Also love your videos, you were the one who inspired me to shave my head❤❤
I love fanola toning/shampoo products too, I was told by a hairdresser tho that the reason they work so well is because they have some sort of bleach/lightener in it, some places near me stopped selling it because of that, I still love them tho
@@Thereaderlucy Fanola shampoo does not have lightener in it, how is that even going to work? Toner of course is used after bleaching with developer so yes, that may also lighten the hair a little bit, but the shampoo? Not at all.
Always and only using Fanola for my platinum / white hair. I'm a Level 5 naturally and with Fanola + Olaplex I get to level 10 / 11 easily with only minor breakage.
@@Jessman5 i dont know if its 100% true or not, never said that, I just know that I was told by a hairdresser that that was the case and that was the reason they no longer sell it and that it was essentially bleaching their clients hair
Girl, my gosh, slap some olaplex no3 on that hair, it’s bringing me bad flash backs to when I had that exact damage ahahaha. I swear all you need is micro fiber towel dried hair, a good amount of olaplex saturation for 45-60 min, shampoo LIGHTLY, easy fix after like 3-6 sessions. Oh & don’t even touch the hot tools for a while. Air dry curls are just as beautiful. With that said, I’m bleaching it to white with Blondme. I swear my level 9 hair is so healthy, it can take more bleach.
@@toxxicx i would assume she has considering she’s been doing this like 10 more years than I have. But I couldn’t live with that damage, so I experimented with Olaplex. That 10 min instruction is crap. It did nothing for me. Tried that for 3 months. Bought a new bottle, did 45+ min. That actually showed results.
Yellow + blue = green… it just shows up more with certain colour combinations… I hate when colours don’t work out the way you want it to but you rock whatever colour you do 🥰
