Today I'm going to be running through the basics of weapons handling in Scum. Do you find yourself struggling to understand the basics of weapons, attachments, aiming and even shooting, what happens when your weapon gets a jam, well I'm here to help with that. After this video you should have the basic understanding of how to use, maintain and keep that gun shooting.... well at least till you run out of ammo.

Im sure you figured it out by now but you can also.just take a magazine/clip and press R to reload it.

@33:06 I'm pretty sure you can tap CTRL to get more info on the left side of your scope. It takes a few seconds but the wind,range etc... shows up.

Its ok, a LOT like every other survival shooter, but kinda cartoonish when compaired to dayz. wish it was more real. FPP need work for sure.

Good explanation but each video I watch about this game makes it seem less and less fun. I get that it's realistic but it's just a bunch of time consuming tasks that take 2 seconds in real life but seem to be super inconvenient with the implementation in the game play. The amount of things I've left on the ground by accident is large and seems like a pointless aspect of the game due to the limits of being a game and not real life. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

its a true survival experience in game form, things take time to do, yeah I get some aspects there could be processes to speed this up, like being able to remove more than 1 nail at a time from a box etc. I've left things on the ground plenty of times, even after the amount of hours I've put in the game haha. Its a really fun game, it'll be even better on full release when its a finished product and finalised, but that'll take some time. Everyone has their own views and standpoints and that fair 🙂

Great minds think a like, it’s on my list already for when the new LMG, RPG & LAW come in to scum, it may be a few months away from now though.

How the heck do you have everything organized where you're not losing them in the inventory?! I had M16A4 showing on hot bar but inventory it was gone!

I’ve lost a Kar98 a As-Val and another weapon I can’t remember off the top of my head now. Did report to admins to check out as could be a potential bug (or could be wall hackers) that way they can send it off to devs if needed. Can report these bugs to admin also on the scum discord 😊

How do you keep your gun in good condition and keep its condition up

Two ways, you can either find/buy a weapons cleaning kit. Or you can find another gun, then use a toolbox to dismantle it, then use the toolbox/weapons parts to repair your weapon (you have an M9, find another M9 and do this process) has to be the same weapon for this to work 😊
