A fabulous video! I made a really large cover out of a padded mailing envelope & it has a 3” spine, which I didn’t want to poke through nor did I have double-wide (connected) papers, so I realized I had no idea how to make signatures for it, then I learned from you how to glue them to paper strips. And now I know the next step!! I’m absolutely thrilled that I can work on that project again! You’re so creative AND yet so practical when it comes to technical difficulties. When I make a mess I now say, “it doesn’t matter”, you know, it really doesn’t!! It’s so liberating to have that attitude! I did look below, but I didn’t see any info on Rose or maybe I’m confused about that. Thanks for an illuminating video & Lulu’s journal is going to be beautiful!

I like the example you used today. I tried it with cardboard from a cereal box on my only try for a hidden spine. This is a much better way.

What an interesting story you told about Rose & you....I just love to hear you talk about your life ! I also am not too precise when doing art & crafts..the "handmade" look. This is how I make my hidden spines, also. I prefer this way then any others. Stay happy & well Rachel.

You sound very similar to me. It took me two times to get through my speech class in university(it was required). Luckily, the second class only had six people as opposed to the first class which had about forty.

Talking about Lulu selling your stock. My kids always say a skip is coming in. 2 of my Grandies want it all the other 2 are too young to make a comment. The Shrine to Juju. I have my mums gear, my nana and great aunts treasures a few and some friends have given me sewing gear of their mums. So when I craft I talk to them all 😵‍💫🤣😜❤️

I do My hidden spine the same way. I think you have shown it to us before.

I did a hidden spine with fabric covered cereal box front. Was shown how in a video. Using paper instead looks so much easier. I struggled with the stiffness of the box. EDIT to add....a friend here has a travel agency. She always says people should be a tourist in their own country because most don't have a good appreciation for it. She mostly arranges historical excursions.
