Great tutorial! This is the first one that I’ve seen that didn’t require a special flour, special tools, special pasta machine…you get the idea, it’s very intimidating!🤪😩 I can DO this! Thank you for sharing your skills with those of us that are beginning to try making our own pasta. 🙌🏻👏🏻💕 🇮🇹
I love the way she made everything look so simple and basic without all the additional chitchat that a lot of others do. I can’t wait to make ravioli’s for tomorrow nights dinner. Thank you so much for the great recipe.
I made this recipe this week. My first time EVER making pasta! I filled mine with a mixture of ground pork, bacon and a spicy Italian cured meat with cheese, then made a creamy garlic-sage sauce on top. Oh my word! Felt as if I was dining at a fancy-schmancy restaurant! So,so easy! Thank you for sharing this non intimidating way of making ravioli! So excited to try different fillings and sauces! 🙌🏻👏🏻🥰👍🏻💕
Silly question: did you cook the neat beforehand and add the cooked it to the the ravioli when putting the ravioli together? I imagine the meat would take longer to cook. Looking forward to your reply!
I’ve learned this 2 months ago , my entire family (10 of us) loves them. Now every Sunday it’s these and some chicken parm family dinner that I do all the cooking. Thank you for bringing our chaotic schedules together …awesome food
My son and I love cooking our own pasta and we have watched scores of instructional videos during our kitchen adventures, but we love your demeanor and banter the best :) Good luck getting to Italy ;)
Thank you so much! My daughter and I made ravioli based on your video, and they were amazing and wonderful. We LOVE your video, your delivery, your explanations, and your attitude. Your directions were perfectly clear, and empowering, and were exactly what we needed. We had a lot of fun watching you, and making the ravioli. Thank you again.
I loved my mom's ravioli and always wanted to make it myself. I remember asking for it every birthday, not a restaurant but homemade. She made it for me and I am determined to make it, this recipe is almost exactly as I remember helping in the kitchen. I'm gonna try
OMG this is the best recipe of the many I saw. I cans do this with all I have n not have to spend money on extra gadgets. I’m cooking it this week! I will be posting the video once it’s done. Thanks n God bless!🌺🙏
Best and "APPARENTLY" easiest ravioli recipe I've seen so far so I'll be making it this week. Thanks for sharing. Also. Whenever I think of cooking pasta the music of choice is Jazz...ALWAYS. I'll usually start off with Gato Barbieri's "She's Michelle", dedicated to his Italian late wife Michelle Barbieri and I'll go from there. Of course, the wine is always present.
Italian born, American transplant, this is how a lot of us do pasta over in Italy, in fact, basically as authentic as you can get. Machines and hand cranks are fun, but honestly me and my grandma just busted out stuff with our hands ( " your hands aching from making dough is dolore that makes the pasta taste better" )
I am so glad you made this video,I’ve always wanted to make ravioli but everybody always makes it seems like it’s something hard to do. thanks for the video👍🇹🇹🇺🇸
I want to thank you so much for the simple, yet wonderful recipe. I was a pasta chef, toooo much work. I'm not Italian, but my spirit is! For, I inhabit all nations!!! I tried this. I give you 10 star's out of 5
Wow thank you - I'm expanding my cooking skills and want to start making homemade pasta - this sounds delicious and I will definitely be making homemade ravioli! Your instructions are clear and concise - I don't have a pasta machine either but I do have a knife and a rolling pin!
Thank you, Mrs. McLaughlin, I wanted to make a wonderful dinner for my wife (please note, that I am not a good cook). The kneading the dough was a challenge, but in the end it was all worth it. It was a wonderful meal and made for a great night, thank you.
This is great! I want to figure out how to make ravioli filled with lobster filling, topped with a creamy crabmeat sauce. We ate that at an expensive Italian restaurant. It was so good, but there weren’t very many and it was very pricey. Thank you for not using any special tools! I think I can do this!
I have never ever eat it before and googled so many recipes. Must honestly say you inspired me now to make it myself.thanx for clear demo and motivation🥰🥰
Good. Perfect for my husband & me / my our treat! I'm gonna make ths for my hubby! I'm going for a meat ravioli though! Egg yolk for my glue - not water. Of course marinara sauce & my parsley & cheeses :) Ya. ia. Yum.
This needs to be thin thin. I made these today and wasn't thin enough. It kinda expanded when I boiled it. It got larger and slightly thicker. My arms today are burning today from the kneading and rolling. Overall it tastes great.
Yummy, they look soooo good. I love homemade raviolis. Have some stored in the freezer, homemade of course. Really enjoy your video's. Thanks for all the recipes.
