Pad Thai is a dish of stir-fried rice noodles, and has become one of Thailand's national dishes.
Pad Thai specialty is the unique combination of tastes in it: Salty is from fish sauce, Sour from tamarind, and Sweet from sugar.
This recipe is easy to prepare at home. Here are the ingredients for 4 servings:
Pad Thai Sauce:
2 tablespoons of fish sauce
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons of tamarind sauce
3 tablespoons of lime juice
3 tablespoons rice vinegar
1 tablespoon sriracha hot sauce
2 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon of crushed ginger
1 tablespoon roasted sesame oil
400 g chicken breast
200 g tofu
150 g prawns
250 g rice noodles (3mm)
3 green onions
200 g mung sprouts
2 large eggs
3 tablespoons of roasted and salted peanuts
1/2 tablespoon of salt
