This video shows a step-by-step guide on how to set up an Electronic Auto Focuser (EAF) on a refractor telescope. Equipment used in this video: ZWO Electronic Auto Focuser (EAF) SVBONY 503 Refractor telescope Canon EOS RP - 50mm
I can't wait till my gear is all together and functional. I have entered a whole new hobby. I am reading books as the stuff comes in. Then I need decent skies.
Prople who own ZWO EAFs don't like to talk I guess. This is quite literally the 3rd video in a row on the subject where I might as well tuned into a radio station.
Yeah, they are easy to install. The title of the video is very misleading. It's not a How To. If it was titled, watch me install a ZWO EAF while listening to a repeating drum beat, then nobody would be frustrated by watching it. A how to would include common things a beginner should watch out for, etc. After they have taken away the thumbs down tally, all we have to go on is the title...and this title is just not what the video is.
Hey mate, I’d always keep 102ED for astrophotography but newtonians for visual observation. Because 102ED is a doublet, visually its no where near as good as a newtonian or dob.
There’s no ans in Kilometres for telescopes as this would vary from sky conditions to aperture. Limiting magnitude is 12 which is how faint object it can see on a longer exposure. Easily can see galaxies 50 million light years into virgo super cluster.
