Easy install 2” lowering shackles

I think it would work, depending on how much you want to lower it. Though I have no idea how much clearance you have under your Fords bed. The design and the principles are the same. Hope this helps you my friend.

The way I trimmed out my floor rail only left about 1“ of clearance with a 2” shackle. So it all depends on how much you trim and the length of the shackles. Try removing all of that floor rail and go from there. Good luck my friend.

Yikes. Sometimes the bolts get rusted into the bushing sleeve and are very hard to remove. If it won’t budge by driving it out with a hammer and punch, then you might have to cut the bolt off both sides next to the spring and replace the bolt and bushings. Sorry, if that’s the case. That spoils all the fun.

Not a problem on a lowered rig. Fortunately a Lowered pickup doesn’t have a lot of articulation. Are you planning on lowering your pickup? Off road rigs often use longer shackles, however there is a limit before things start bending and twisting. Thank you for your comment

@@Farm10customs yes. I'm thinking of using a drop shackle in conjunction with a higher rate leafs; my thought is that it will be able to level the truck while still having the heavier duty springs since I have about 500 pounds in my bed at all times.

Yeah, that sounds like a great plan. The looks and still able to carry your gear.

How does the extra springs effect your ride? Does it seem a bit rough without extra weight in the bed?

I used this kit. Wasn’t too sure about the upper flange fitting underneath the bed support so I cut it off. You can see how I did that in the video (shorten and c- notch the frame) you can see what I mean.
