EASY KNOTLESS BRAIDS || Crochet Method || Beginner Friendly || LivinFearless 

I just did these and they turned out AMAZING. I am not a person who knows how to do hair at all but since I can’t get my hair done I’ve been on RU-vid learning and this was by far the easiest tutorial. I took my time and did them over a 2 day period.

I LOVE box braids. It’s all I wear. But trying to start this year right by saving more money (doing my own nails and hair). And this method was a game changer! I can braid, but I can’t grip the hair. This is by far the easiest and quickest method that I've seen, and I love it! I've done my own hair before, but never with the knotless method, but I want to. I searched RU-vid and came across one video of a woman adding more and more hair for the same size in thickness (jumbo) all the way down, but I'm not interested in the "feed in" route right now. Another woman showed a technique somewhat similar to yours, but she put hair in horizontally like you, but also diagonally, and with 3-5 strands of hair. Relaxer-free for two years, and my hair is growing and getting thicker, which means it takes longer to style and dry, and the humidity in the during Alabama summers is extremely rude and crude. Even in the winter, I hate going out with damp hair, so this natural hair situation is a bit much for me at times. My mom was my personal stylist and took care of my hair, also braided it, but when she died, I relied on strangers at salons who helped to cause my nearly waist-length hair to fall out tremendously, to the point where it had to be cut off in a short Bob. :( I kept thinking there had to be a way with less hair and less steps for the braiding. You proved that there is! Hooray! It looks good, too! Thanks so much for sharing this!

I was trying this method with the crochet needle, but I had to much hair trying to pull it all through. I also tried to braid all the hair together, but your method is much better to braid the last portion at the end. Right now, I'm in faux locs. Thanks

Loved the tutorial. For your hair, did you just plait each small section and braid it down a little or did you section each of them off with a tiny rubber band and then braid it down a little leaving the ends out?
