Bernadette... I don’t think I’ve ever commented on a RU-vid video before. But oh my goodness I love you!! You are an awesome teacher and you are so sweet. I love how your videos are so quick and the way you explain things!! I seriously feel like you’re teaching me in person and talking to me. Around 1:19 I wasn’t paying attention and trying to put my fingers on the chords and you said “watch me, watch me,” and I looked up, it felt so real that you were teaching/talking to me haha! I try not to skip any of the ads and watch them all the way through, hope that’s enough repayment for now for the lessons you give us ❤️❤️
C chord- down, cut, up Then right into F chord- down,up,cut Then switch to G7-up,up,cut,up,up,cut Sorry this could’ve been explained better but I hope it helps
Excellent really well explained for 2 songs with the same chords thankyou for your videos. only being playing for 4 weeks and I am really hooked at 59 thought I would try learning an instrument glad I choose up the ukulele.
You are a very good teacher and you do' the rush things for us beginners . I have a Kala Learn To Play Ike which sounds great . Thank you very much for your tutorials . Johnny .
I (a true ukulele beginner) really enjoy watching your videos and learning under your guidance :-) even these two songs were the ones I would have loved to master ... There ist just one thing... what if you try sing with your normal voice? I mean your voice when speaking is so smooth and natural but this singing seems to be a little bit too high (unnecessarily) ;-) just a question. Anyway, thank you a lot for all your videos, sincerely, one of your latest subscribers ;-)
Thanks for the tip in the description box about how long one should practice. I'm teaching my daughter who's really young and that's about how long our lessons last so I was happy to hear that 5 minutes is a good amount (I connected with you on IG previously). She still calls you her teacher on the TV 🤣. Thanks for all your content!
Hi miss B! I just started following your tutorials and was wondering if you can provide chord charts or do we get it from a website you might have perhaps? I love your tutorials they are super funny entertaining and educational :)
Thank you, Ms. B. Will practice this one. And when I master this one, I'll promise to upload it on your reddit (oh should I promise?) But i'll try my best. Hehehe
I love this progression. 7th chords make boring progressions sound interesting. I know the song La Bamba, I have not heard the other one. Just noticed the cool shiny thing on your ear :D Looks so cool..
+Kevin glad you like this progression. It's so so easy to memorize and it's GREAT practice for moving from F to G7. Once people get past that hurdle, the next hurdle is barre chords. How are you doing with your uke!? I hope you love it!
Ja! Ya pense esto! Las mexicanas son las latinas mas lindas - si se mantienen delgadas ... ;-) Ay donde encuentro una mujer como tu! Tan linda y inteligente?! :-|
I am getting the chords easily, but the strumming is kind hard for me to get. Can you show slowly how to do the strumming. It sound stupid, but I am new at this. Thanks!
Hey Bernadette, kia ora ! hellor from New Zeaaland :) I am wondering if you could make a video demonstrating how to do C-G-F-G? I found G chords really tricky :P Thanks a lot!!!
Thanks a lot for reply :) I am a total beginner lool and I am a kindergarten teacher. I am practicing some nursery songs like ABC songs, wheels on the bus or itcy bitsy spider.
+yisha liu okay! Do you have me on Facebook? I will remember to do it next time I set up my recording equipment if you shoot me a message :) facebook.com/bernadetteteachesmusic
Two beautiful classic songs and the sound is cool and easily recognizable. I'm also loving the Kala ukulele. I noticed the strum pattern includes chunking. Do you have a video on chunking? Will you be adding these videos to your blog page www.bernadetteteachesmusic.com/p/ukulele-education-series.html? Thank you for continuing to take time to teach the world music.
+Ken Munroe hey! I'm glad you like the songs 😊 These are super recognizable, which makes them great for the campfire 🔥 I don't have a video on chunking yet, but I am planning it out. Stay tuned ;) I will be adding this to the blog as well! Next month my blog will be my focus 😉 Thank you for taking the time to comment 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
