I know this is an older recipe video but I just made these for my granddaughters Wedding Shower and they were absolutely delicious. Thank you so much for this wonderful recipe.❤️
Why, Mr. Kevin, I do declare, you have a mighty powerful sweet-tooth. 😉You make the most beautiful sweets in your videos. These cookies are great for afternoon high tea. Perfect to go with some nice finger sandwiches and that lovely Earl Grey tea. Thank you so much!! Be well and be safe! 😊💖🙏
Catching up on your older videos. No worries about eating the raw cookie dough here since there are no eggs in it. I usually end up eating about a quarter of my orange chocolate chip shortbread dough that I make at Christmas. You know, for quality control as you like to say. 😂 So…then I have to make more dough…I’ll try these lavender cookies this summer! So lovely and 🎵 fancy. Also try Rosemary shortbread! Delicious!
Oh Kevin....my mouth is literally watering! My lavender is in full bloom and I cannot wait to make these. I love food that is not only delicious, but pleasing to the eye. Thank you!
I cannot wait to try these! I'm going to make these for a girlfriends painting party, and for my next evening ladies night out at church! I wonder how just a wee bit of lemon zest would taste in the glaze? Thank you, Kevin, always, for your calming videos and genuine kindness! God bless! ❤️😊
Mmmm! 💜 I was just looking for lavender today at the local store but they are out. Then this video appeared in my feed. I want to make these delightful cookies for the holidays. How divine! 💜❇️💜
I'm addicted to your recipes. David this is your zone as you seem so chill and sure. I like your haircut and if it was maintained it would look good and be out of the eye. Now that you are becoming an icon these things matter.🤳😎
I make these but with earl grey, Claire Robinson’s food network recipe. I like them better. Recipe is somewhat easier as well. I just made them a few days ago for my elderly neighbor, her favorite.
Hello! I want to make these for my wedding but I want to add flowers with an egg wash, would I be able to do that on top of the glaze? Or would I wait till it dries? Or would I just press the flower into the graze and forgo the egg wash? Thank you!!
I simply tossed fresh lavender blossoms on top of my still-wet confectioners' sugar glaze. As the glaze dried, it "glued" the flowers into place. Same method might work for you if your flowers are small. Otherwise you could use egg white to hold your blossoms in place. Congrats on your upcoming wedding!
