Hi Roger I bought a mill, and rewired it with the new usb breakout board , I have it all working on a 64 bit windows 10 laptop , your tutorial are simple to understand for us beginners , I am struggling with the tool offsets, could you make a video of starting the job as I do a trial run without the stock in and the z is not going to where the top of the stock should be . How do you get that MPG working with mach3 ? I have a same MPG but it crashes mach3. Maybe wrong file. What do you use ?. (win7 32bit, mach3 someting ,066)
Hello Roger, thank you for your video. I'm quite new to CNC routers, and I have a Mach3 router, I'm struggling with getting any files to work properly on my router, apart from the ones that came with the Mach3 software. Can you please give me any pointers/advice on how to set everything up properly? I've tried to send a file over to my router in Mach3, but it doesn't seem to recognise the gcode commands to lift the spindle between moves, and I can't work out why... Apologies for the long winded comment. Thanks in advance.
Roger can i know if the Mac3 is stable on a laptop computer? Because i see allot of comments stating that it should be run on a PC rather than laptop. Just need your input. I have a laptop running windows 7 32Bit laptop. Which i plan to upgrade to windows 10 32bit just to run the Mac3
@@rogerwebb9600 i have seen on your video that you are using a laptop with extended larger monitor for the mac3. So far any issues that you have faced running mac3 on laptop? Does it have any form of issues while running continuously for hours?
you do very good videos....but is there any place to learn how to make the program ?? not just to load it but to create it... I don't know how to do 3D carving...where the picture is raised on the wood not plunged into it....I use Fusion 360... and Carbide Motion...

@@rogerwebb9600 i like your videos. But I would of been helpfull a little more continuity on the mach 3 tutorials, instead of having to "fish" them up from your play lists. Any way. Grateful for the effort
