This is perfect pitch, photographic memory, perfect finger, hand, & eye coordination, virtuosic musical skills, and an extraordinary sense of rhythm all wrapped up into one and he kinda makes it look easy but any guitar player from beginning to advanced knows it ain't, especially when you factor in the fact that he also did the arranging of an entire band for one instrument.
I have NEVER seen ANYONE who can do this type of performance song after song after song. How many HOURS and with the precision on beat, bass, rhythm, lead and every other instrument. This is not a one off, Kent consistently does this again and again. Stunning and GREAT to WATCH, every time!!!~
This guy is an incredible player. Plays bass, rhythm, melody, and doesn't miss a note. His arrangements are awesome and accurate to the original songs.
OMFG this is the most insanely impressive piece of virtuosity that I have ever seen. The studio mastering was also superb. It's so good that I almost think an AI might have done it, except that I don't think any amount of post processing would have been able to do anything close. This arrangement is stellar, on some other level of genius. 🤯
I agree. Kent, you can play the whole band version of any song with 6 strings and 2 hands. This is guitar playing on a level that all of the guitarists in the world can only dream about. To play that solo while accompanying yourself with the bassline and rhythym at the same time!!!! Is insane!.
I am happy to be existing at a time when legendary Kent Nishimura is coming into his prime, I can't wait to see how much more amazing stuff he will put out in the future.

@@Siddhartha040107 The 1st to 4th strings (ie the ones the solo is played on) are in standard tune, the only difference is that the fifth and sixth strings appear from the description to be tuned down a fifth. That's not to take away from the unbelievable precision to get that kind of tone and clarity out of an acoustic guitar while not dropping the drum or bass parts.

Kent… I’ve watched many of your videos, and I just can’t figure out how you’re able to fit an entire band into one guitar 🤣🤣🤣. But really, I continue to be absolutely stunned by what you can do with a guitar! You have really, in my opinion, maximized the capability of what a guitar can do and become. I continue to be beyond impressed, and have to constantly remind myself that what I am hearing and seeing is real. When watching Kent, I make sure my fingers can see the screen so that they can see what they might be capable of if they did what I damn well told them to! This is guitar playing from another stratosphere altogether. Incredible!
Just discovered Mr. Nishimura and my world is forever changed. Most impressive playing I think I've ever seen. He doesn't just play the guitar part... he plays percussion and the vocal melody as well, and flawessly... Couldn't hit subscribe fast enough.
yeah but he's shot himself in the foot so far by covering mostly meh banal songs. Had he covered the great ones he'd be a superstar now. Still he's young enough get all the meh average songs out of his system and then get on with his life by covering the greats.

Man where have I been, Kent is amazing. But i must say, even to have that skill or practice the song's to that level, without having a guitar of that caliber it will always fall short. That sound quality is amazing. Brilliant resonance.
