Hi Rob, Was there any reason you didn't look at the Histogram when verifying your total blackness without the flashguns firing? Perhaps you could explain your thought processes. BTW, I liked that your top light was slightly behind you. That can be a useful highlight (if you'll excuse the pun) especially for female portraiture, where it catches and adds form to complex hairstyles. Rick
I didn't want to add another layer of checks to this process and many beginners don't understand the histogram. If the ambient light were much brighter, then checking the histogram would be more critical.
