The crazy eyes make it bro, but I also like the red hooks too. I think I have seen KBS has a spray coat, but I have not used it. I use their diamond coat and dip my lures. I like it, plus it does not require a UV light. I make my lures, but have not tried a jointed bait, but it is on my list of things to give a whirl. Before I paint a lure, I go cast it a few times to see how she runs. I need to come up with something else tho since our waters are going to be closing up with ice soon. I have some of those blanks those blanks are junk they spin in circles as you wind them in cool paint job but then blank are junk
