Omg this was incredible! I made it as a bundt cake and baked for 55 minutes. Covered halfway. No icing. It's moist and absolutely delicious.

OMG this recipe looks sooo simple. We're going to try it tonight using the leftover 🥕's from our juicer. The batter so far is sooo delicious. Can't wait to see how it turns out 😋

Made this for grandson’s birthday. It was a hit. Had to use gluten free flour. But still an excellent cake. And the icing was to die for. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

I just made this today. I should have stuck to my original recipe that I have made many times with great success. But today, I thought I would try this one. A total flop, and I followed the instructions step by step. I think, adding the brown sugar is also a bad idea. Should only use normal sugar. I threw it out, and lucky I didn't proceed with the icing. Reading the comments here, it doesn't sound like a good consistency.

Did you add caster sugar and brown sugar?

Granulated sugar and brown sugar. Caster sugar is a bit more finely ground, but will be fine in this recipe as a sub for the granulated sugar.

Delicious cake. But, the frosting is extremely loose even with 1 1/4 cup extra powdered sugar it barely held together. More like the consistency of cinnamon roll icing. I’d go with the traditional icing if you want firmer frosting or you’re traveling with the cake.

I just made it for my someone's birthday. It was delicious! But I have notes. Firstly, this was NOT easy. Not even close to easy. Second, the icing remained thin. The consistency was okay, but not like in the video. I made it exactly according to the recipe, and even stored it in the freezer for a bit before applying it, just to make it as thick as possible. It tasted great, but just wasn't very thick at all. Also, they must have used tiny cake pans or else added a lot of nuts and raisins to get the cake layers that thick. Mine were thinner than in the video by a bit. My texture also came out a little more dense than it appears in the video. IDK, baking is weird. Either way, thanks for the recipe. It was a great cake. Everyone loved it.

Too much sugar. Americans always use too much,in uk our taste buds can’t handle it. As well as the fact it’s too unhealthy. And reducing the sugar in this recipe would make the cake unlikely to turn out right as there’s so much sugar originally. Sorry.

The cake was amazing but I had a problem with the frosting. I followed the measurements but my mixture was very liquidy. I had to improvise by adding butter and more cream cheese but still it was not as thick.

Today I baked with same recipe , it turned really really yummy, I used the same mixture and baked some cupcakes , it took 30 mins for 176 degree centegrade

Tried this cake a few times. It is as good as they say it is. Only thing I change is I shred carrots, not grate (smaller holes on the grater but not the spiky ones).

I make this cake at work. It gets demolished. The raisins and nuts are great in them. This cake is so moist its ridiculous. It never last more than a day.

I suggest not to use olive oil because is too heavy..has strong flavour..sunflower oil is light
