An old crochet hack - rub your hooks through your hair or wash them with Dawn dish soap to help with squeaky acrylic yarn! Thank you for the tutorial ❤️
This tutorial was amazing. Like it's so well explained and thorough. My lil frog was made with velvet yarn so he's SUPER soft, and he came out perfect. 20/10 please make more patterns!!!
I made a frog! No sewing eye lumps on! So easy, found out a new stitch(?) and had lots of fun! I got more lemon lime coloured yarn and ready to make an army of FROGS. This may become a hazard, but it’s worth it when you can take over the whole universe! 😊
THIS. I commissioned a crochet frog plushie from my classmate’s sister who had a crochet school business i still have the frog and brings back so many good memories (me and my okd classmates made frog c*lt because we found a frog in the school feild and then it crawled into a pipe, traumatizing) I see all of my friends picking up crochet and i really wanna try and if i get into it ill make an army of frogs! making “Lord of the Frogs”/“Le kermits” proud 🥰 (Lord of the frogs / le kermits was the name of the c*lt, also we were kids so we were just goofing off and didn’t actually make a c*lt lol)
Just finished my tiny frog! 🐸💚 Thank you for the tutorial it was sooo clear and easy to follow 😆💕 unfortunatly i didn't have small safety eyes so i used the embroidery thread as the mouth and it worked out just fine👍🏻 Now i'm tempted to make an army of tiny frogs 😂😂😂
i made this for a friend:D f2f classes are returning and he was the first person I told about me crocheting, and he asked for a frog a year later and I got him the damn frog XD can't wait to give it to him
this is so cute!! ive just made my sister a fluffy blue and white frog!! love the pattern, and super easy to follow! 100% recommend to make this cutie as a little gift for someone :))
Girl thank you so much for this tutorial I made a little froggy for my friend as a Christmas gift 🐸 I had so much fun making it, probably gonna make more :)
I’ve made this frog so many times! It’s so so cute I love it, I’ve made 2 for me, 1 as a gift for someone that worked at a reception that was rlly nice so I gave it as a gift, 1 for my friend, 1 from my other friend and 1 for another xD
aw man i spent so long trying so hard to make this guy and i did it! he is a little funky tho because i got confused and started making stuff up but this tutorial is rlly good! thank u!
Why are there so many negative comments?! There is nothing wrong with the video. I did it no problem. It may no be completly beginner friendly. But its still very easy. (the first bobbles not so much 😅) I lOvE mY fRogGy!
this is soo cute ! I came here from your TikTok and I’m glad I did because I have the cutest frog now ! I had a little trouble with the bobble Stich but other than that it went really well so thanks :)
Edited round 11 to make the feet even RND11: sc 3, dec, sc 2, pbo, dec, (sc 3, dec)x2, sc 2, pbo, dec, sc 3, dec (24) The 2nd leg was off by one so easy fix to rearrange the stitches :) Happy Crocheting Everyone!
If you don't have a needle, slip stitch in the last round and chain 1. Start making 6 single crochets in the back loop, slip stitch and finish off. Insert your hook from like the top of the frog and pull the cut yarn trough the frogs body or push the blo sc you made(I'm so bad at explaining lmao)
This tutorial is very cute! I like the little tips you gave for making the eyes and limbs pop, and also the frog is so plump and cute!! As a beginner, this was my first successful project!
Beginner here, was wondering why when you were crotcheting the part that faced towards you was the outisde of the frog whilst mine was the inside? Thanks!
I have tried this pattern so many times and no matter how exactly I follow the pattern counting my stitches just to make sure I have the right number the little arms and legs are not in the right spots. I had to add stitches to make them line up with the eyes. I feel so defeated.
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but the belly ends up on the Sid and not in between the eyes. I know how to crochet well and I’ve redid it a lot of times but it’s the same result every time. I followed exactly what it says. Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong?🤨
Love this video tutorial, but I was working off the written pattern, and I think that it would be more beginner friendly if it said when to put in the stuffing and how to end it off
Im exited for my yarn to arrive to crochet this tiny cute frog and the mini mushroom 🍄🐸!! (Is it okay if i can maybe sell the finished product? Ill make sure to credit you!!)
Not sure but ik you can do them with black yarn (embroider them) And yes they're made to not not need glue but you can put if you really wanna be sure it'll last
RND 11: I edited to make the feet even sc3, dec, sc2, pbo, dec, (sc3,dec)x2, sc 2, pbo, dec, sc 3, dec (24) The 2nd leg was only one off from being even so easy to swap the stitch order :) Happy Crocheting Everyone!
I've tried making this pattern multiple times but every time I make the same mistake (the eyes and the belly end up way too far to one side,) is there anything I'm doing wrong? And how do I fix it
I started crocheting in February this year, and started off with this video tutorial for a mini frog; ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nN9JK9JZG-k.htmlsi=eq3b7zcw8ebhZz1y I made two frogs with this, and it really helped me get started in crocheting! Then I made a tiny bee, a tiny penguin, a really tiny octopus. Then in June I started crocheting clothes, with three crop tops, in September I made two beanies, 7 scrunchies and then started working on this mock neck sweater which really helped me learn new stitches and tricks in crocheting. After that I crocheted 3 bt21 plushies for my friends, and one cat keychain for my sister. These are all the things I’ve crocheted this year, they didn’t turn out perfect, because I know I’m learning and getting better at it, for example I’ll probably never use the crop tops I made, because they turned out terrible. But that’s okay, I’ll try again next year and hopefully do better. You’ll learn just like anyone, just give it time ☺️ (Also, a tip for beginners is to search up tutorials for stitches you don’t know how to crochet on Pinterest or RU-vid. It helps a lot)
Thanks for your replies! I tried both and both worked well, but with the 2.5mm hook I was able to make the stitches tighter. I probably will be able to do that with the 3mm hook too, with some practice :) Very new to crochet still 😄
