My job is good and I make great money for a server but the majority of my coworkers are really mean to me, one of the very few people who are kind to me just had her father pass away yesterday so I wanted to make her something to show I care and I decided this little huggable friend would be perfect! Thank you so much!!! It was a great video and I love your energy :)
Hi!! Yesterday, my brother was having a bad day. I wanted to make him a lil frog, and I followed this tutorial to make him one. He named it goober, and now im making so many people goobers at my school too. And every time I make one I come back to this tutorial! I truly thank you so much for this!! :)
I failed to make a good teddy bear and I decided to make green frog and found this video, it is the first time I didn't have to pause, its so smooth making it with you and it turned out super amazing! 😍 THANKSSS!!! ❤
amazing pattern! this was my first ever attempt (technically second, we don't talk about the first..) attempt at crocheting as I'm teaching myself and i loved how my little frog turned out! he's not perfect and looks bloated and slightly deformed but he's perfect in my eyes. took him to my classes today and my peers and teachers loved seeing him, and i have a few people already interested in buying my work! i cannot thank you enough for the clear, easy to understand tutorial and the fact that you wrote out each stitch while showing us! means a lot, will definitely do more of your tutorials in the future!
AMAZING! I made mine in 2 hours and about 15 minutes so easy and simple! i recommend to beginners especially if you want to make a cute stuffy it sets you to making bigger projects! so to any beginners, i recommend it! 🤩😍🤗😊
THX , i'm finally done with creating a cute frog !! not first try, i went through asymetrical arms lol but it went perfect at the 3rd time so i thank you a lot bc, although im a beginner, the tut was very clear !! imma now make 7 more and give em to my friends 🤡 ❤❤
this was so so easy to follow, thank you for making the instructions so clear 💗💗 somehow i accidentally increased my frogs body a bit too much so he’s VERY chonky but it’s okay i love him ☺️☺️
I've made two of these using this thin acrylic yarna nd they are such scrungly little fellas and are utterly delightful to look at Update: I have made like 5 of these and am still actively making more
Hi, Im 13 and I found this tutorial really easy, thanks for sharing it with us :D this is one of the only projects I actually had the motivation to finish I now have 3 :D
I did my arms and legs by doing 11 sc and then sc in the 2nd stitch from the hook and then chain 1 sc in the same stitch and chain 1 again and sc in the same stitch then 1sc in each of the next chains
wonderful tutorial! As a intermediate-advanced crocheter, sometimes videos like this are way too drawn out, but this was a perfect length. I did size up to a 6.5 hook and used animal noses for the safety eyes. They are the ones without detail, just triangular in shape so my frog looks extra disappointed lol. As many others are saying, I can’t wait to make more for family and friends :) !
thank you so much for this tutorial!! this is my first time ever crocheting and i was able to make this frog i was worried because i also used bernat baby blanket but i actually made it :’) for anyone having trouble just slow down the video i slowed it down a bit and i understood everything !
I’ve been putting off doing this pattern thinking it was going to be difficult but it turned out amazing! Definitely great for beginners on how you go over every stitch. ❤
thank you so much i made this for my sister and she loves it!! i am going to make some with magnets on there hands and then they can hold on to each others hand
That’s awesome!! I’ve made them in different sizes, using different size hooks and yarn 🧶 I made a short video about it! ru-vid.comAQ-pXdFIeTA?si=nFZwBZaxWHU77UON
Yes!! I’m so glad you did a video for your pattern!! I was following the pattern on your website but was very confused and I’m so glad I found you on RU-vid!!
Hi! Your pattern is amazing! The easiest pattern ever! I recently started my own crochet business. It's pretty small, and I mostly just sell to kids at my school. Do you mind if I sold my leggy froggy creations? I will give you credit for the pattern. Thanks!
I really like this tutorial, but the bright and fluffy yarn makes it pretty hard to actually see the stitches, no hate tho! Just an opinion Edit: i just finished my froggy!! I was worried because my blind ahh couldnt see the stitches properly it wouldnt work, but it did and he looks awsome! Keep up the good work (I also made him with normal yarn so hes very tiny)
As an 11 year old that started crocheting 1 week ago, I find your videos very helpful! 😁. This was my very first project, my frog looks a bit wonky but I'm very proud that I am able to finish it 😀. Thank you for this tutorial!! (人*´∀`)。*゚+
I have been wanting to make one of these guys for a while. This is so easy to follow. I made him today and he is so soft and squishy. I love him. Thank you so much!🥰
I crocheted one of these today and it came out so 💖cuuuute!💖 Your instructions were very clear and easy to follow :). I will definitely be making more of these derpy little angels 🥺. Thank you!!!
Oh my word, thank you so, so, so much for the tutorial, at first when I almost done, I was literally shocked, because this was my first time I followed a tutorial by doing plushies, and thankfully to you, I done my first tutorial plushie!!! Thanks so much!!💗💗🤩🤩
I have a question - in the beginning why do we do our first st in the 3rd ch from the hook? Doesn’t 1 hdc = 1 ch? I’m asking because I think it needs ch 8 as foundation instead of ch9
Am i the only one struggling with the stitches? Like in the first round there is supposed to be 18 stitches but have 16. How can i fix that? I did it again and again but it is still the same.
Mine is usually a bit flat too. On the ends where the half double crochets are, it should form a little bump if you use your fingers to push the the stitches up. 🐸 Maybe you could try crocheting the half double crochets a little looser so that the are puffier. I hope this helps! ❤️
Thank you so much they turned out super cute l made 5 of them so l can sell them at my market the tourial is super easy to follow an lm really thankful 😃🤍
hello! do you have an estimate on how much yarn is used for the project? I have a hard time estimating from watching the video. Thank you for the tutorial!
@@Suri-ph5jf I was just thinking I should making a video about that!! 🤣 You can get any yarn. On the label it will say the size (I think a size 4, 5, or 6 is best for beginners!) In the same place, it will say a recommended hook size to use. As long as you have a hook size that matches the yarn size, you should be good to go! ❤️ here is my beginner learn to crochet series: ru-vid.com/group/PLem3xDFnVY6mwQO6z7MKUxzhAQY2VYcTN&si=2gOBOVw-Bl2htKJY
Yes the ch 2 that you skipped in the beginning counts as the first hdc. So there should be 2 hdc on each side if you count the skipped chains as a hdc.
I'm so confused... I'm trying to make animals but I'm absolutely rubbish at them, after the first chain I'm stuck :/ any tips will be very much appreciated
Oh no! Maybe more practice with chains and single crochets would help? I have a beginner series that might be helpful: ru-vid.com/group/PLem3xDFnVY6mwQO6z7MKUxzhAQY2VYcTN&si=c_SuERO8ZOzQOSrI
There are two ways you could do that. 1. Use thicker yarn and a bigger hook. 2. Adjust the pattern to make it bigger- there are tutorials on RU-vid for this method.
