Those cage's work great as a chick brooder/playpen once covered in poultry wire. Have a great day

That's a awesome idea. I'm gonna try to copy this. I'd keep the corners on the angle section. Then I would slit some heavy hose and run it down to the exposed frame. Now to find a cheap ass tote.

Found your channel looking for diy hay feeders for my 6 horses. In Florida, the round bales in pasture isn't practical, with all the rain. This would use less hay, thus waste less hay if it does rain. Perhaps a covered shelter of some sort to keep rain off would save even more hay. Horses will waste a lot of round bales when just placed in field without a ring or feeder to control it being dragged or rolled apart then peed on & pooped on. Thx 4 idea. No clue where to look for these containers. How do you find them?

This is exactly why we use them, really helps with all the waste. They are quite easy to find if you search for them. Perhaps you use FB market place or Craigslist... Just look for IBC totes. As far as coverage, we have in the past used the plastic bladder they come with cut at a diagonal and placed in top (makes it look like a roof), but our donkey and cows kept taking them off 😅 Appreciate you stopping by!

you stole those up here they get 50.00 dollars apiece up here food grade 30 dollars other soap and such some of those metal containers wook good for your fire wood then you can move them with the forks on your tractors

Their normally 50 here as well, and once, we found them for 20... To find them for 10! We about lost our minds!! Good idea on the firewood, will definitely use some for that - thanks!

As far as the hat, leave the flaps down. My father in law has really bad age spots & cancerous lesions on the sides of his face just above corner of eyes. A hat like you have would have shaded that area. Lesions don't show up until your 70's, but when it does. It looks awful. Flaps down, function over fashion.
