@@lennybuttz2162 what the fk, the entire point of a poached egg is for the runny yolk. if you hate runny yolks just make boiled eggs, it's far less complicated.
@@lycheemyusic I like the runny yolk also but some people don't, they like it fully cooked. Basically it is a boiled egg. This is America people have the right to eat their eggs they way they want. Good Grief no need to get all bent out of shape because of how someone eats their eggs. LOL
this was great ive just bought a poached egg micro maker and this was very useful thanks, it says on my instructions add a small amount of water to each egg compartment i wonder if this will have the same effect as damp towel over the top im looking fallward to experimenting, the sound effects were very amusing thanks for this
They are hard boild not poached 😂😂😂 Add a table spoon of cold water to your plastic holder, then add your egg.. check it out.. BTW the wet towel does nothing, 👍🥳🥳🥳
You shouldn't have to spray the inside it's not going to stick I have something very similar to that that I got on the home shopping Network I never use spray and my eggs come out really good
I'm surprised the yolks did not explode if their membranes were not poked a couple times with sharp object. My experience is 30 sec initial... then 10 sec increments until done.
I know many have said these are cooked longer than they'd like, but this is great for me as I like former egg yolks. Also, I could use this as the base for egg sandwiches, with eggs mashed up with salad cream (or mayo).
Sorry, but poaching eggs in the microwave is a complete waste of time. It takes a bit of practice to get right, but poaching them in water is the only way to go.
Get a small bowl and add water enough to just cover the egg, add the egg and cook for about 2 mins depending on wattage and size of egg. Not quite the same as when done in the Pan but good enough for me.
