EASY Quick FIX PSP CHARGING PORT CONNECTION 

Video is still as relevant as ever! I couldn't get my PSP to charge for a couple of years now and finally decided to look into it. The electrical tape trick 100% worked!!!

Thank you, this fixed my issue! I wanted to fire up my old PSP for my son who's old enough to play now. It wouldn't give that amber light. The charger and port were fine, it turned out the electrical tape trick and a new battery did the trick!

I've been kind of paranoid about tinkering with my PsP and thought that the solution might be complicated but thanks to you I managed to solve my problem in a matter of second. Thank you :D

2023 I did it on a Psp 1000 model and It worked👍🏾 It was blinking orange while plugged and it didn't after i added a thin layer of tape behind the battery. Thankssss

Damn dude thank so much, i recently installed new games and some emulators on it and i was having issues charging it while playing, i could only charge it when standing still. Now it works wonders.

Thank for this tip I have the same problem with my psp I used the sandpaper to sand the around charger tip and it worked it was field with dirt thanks know I can charge my psp and play with my psp and I don't have to buy a new charger 💯👍😊

how about laptop problems can u solve the jack input charging system its more like on ur video its DC too but i saw many videos that it need to replace a new motherboard can u resolve the dc problem charging in laptop

i tried to pry the prong out it just broke could u show with better light how to bring the prong out to get contact? Inside the port.

Yeah that looks like my problem, its a bit stuck in but even if i wiggle the cord and the light turns out it goes right back on so its not that stuck, great video

Hey Tampatec, I have a non genuine PSP charger and I noticed that it is a bit harder to plug it into the charging port. And it is also equally as hard to unplug it. Is this a concern?

Does regular tape work for the quickway?

bending the side pin inside the socket outwards helped charging my psp 3000 more consistently, it still has some positions where my charger won''t work, but at least it's not problematic anymore, I used some generic clock repair tools (precision phillip screwdrivers) to do it, maybe not the best tools but it kinda worked. Gonna keep using my psp a bit longet it seems :D

so here's my issues 1 I plug it in and the orange light comes on, but couple minutes later it turns back off. it turns on without battery, on charger, left it on charger over night and no charge and its a PSP 1001 its my younger cousin's and I have no idea when he lasted played it he said something like 4 years ago 2 its my cousins and not mine please me with my 2 issues thanks
