Grubby PSP 1000 Charge Port Replacement - Teardown Fix & Clean 

Very helpful video. I have 2 psp’s that I had gotten from Goodwill but both had issues. One was missing a pin from the charging port, and the UMD reader on the other wouldn’t work at all even after cleaning the lens. I took both apart after following this video’s guide. I took out the charging port from the bad reader and put it into the one with the bad port. I’ll probably come around to fixing the other psp, but for now one is good.

Trying to revive my PSP, bought a charger that doesn’t charge it, so I’ve replaced the battery but it still isn’t charging, do you think it’s the new charger or the charging port?

My psp 1000 charges but in a certain position **charges only if the wire is facing a certain direction**. Do I still replace the charging port? Thanks mate

What this stuff at square button at 6:56 ? My psp have similar stuff on square button. But this stuff need? Because i refurbish my psp, and i buyed new buttons. But need the 'pad' to working good? The new buttons dont have this pad. This is for better contact? Where i can buy? Or this is dont needless? Thanks.

i have using 2nd psp 1000.. and not original charger.. normally how many hours takes psp to full charge?
