You’re gonna really enjoy this simple and quick baklava recipe!
-10-15 sheets filo dough
-pinch of saffron
-2 ice cubes
-1/4 cup honey
-1/2 cup chopped pistachios
-1/2 cup chopped walnuts
-melted butter
Grind your saffron into a powder and add ice cubes - allow it to melt. Mix your honey with your saffron water, set aside.
Butter all your filo dough and layer into baking dish. Every 2 sheets, add your chopped nuts. Once all out of ingredients, cut into pieces and bake at 250degrees for 15 minutes or until browned and crispy.
As soon as your dough is cooked, pull out and pour over honey saffron mixture.
Cool and serve!
So simple, so easy! So delicious.
