RIP Dennis Hopper (May 17, 1936 - May 29, 2010), aged 74 And RIP Peter Fonda (February 23, 1940 - August 16, 2019), aged 79 You both will be remembered as legends

Jack Nickelson: there is a difference between saying it and actually having freedom, that’s what scares them Truly sums up America and the movie perfectly and my single favorite line in any movie ❤

Excellent film. Among other things, one aspect I really enjoyed when I first saw 'Easy Rider' in the mid 1990s was the shots of the old 1950s and '60s era gas stations, diners and motels. They're pieces of Americana that one doesn't see much of anymore. Watching the movie now in 2020 makes for a mesmerizing nostalgia trip.

RIP TO PETER AND DENNIS and TERRY. That movie was a flash of genius. Saw it when it first came out as a twenty year old pot and acid head bike rider with my bike riding friends. A beautifully woven Pot, Acid and motorcycle dream that was so beautiful to watch listen to. And the great sound track played in my head that year as I rode my XLCH. I was carried away with those guys. The trip was interrupted with George’s murder but the dream unfolded until the nightmare ending. The gut punch. The rage I felt. I jumped up in anger and screamed at the screen. The dream turned into a nightmare. No movie in my 76 years has ever made me jump up and scream at a movie except Easy Rider! Moved to the bone. See you soon Peter, Dennis and Terry we can smoke a joint , do a tab and take a ride on our putts in the moon light on a hot humid summer night.

My friend and I did this on big bikes, 1970,72 across Europe and 1971 US coast to coast including Hwy 61. I carried a big Jack Bowie knife on my belt, NY License plates brought attention

One of the best films of the sixties. About America dividing up into two countries.

I remember seeing this film when it first debuted. My friends and I had a good time on the way to the theater, during the film and afterward. My thanks to the 2 hippie chicks from CA who told me about this film. Nicholson ad-libbed more than a few lines of dialog. His performance was stellar! Choppers por vida!

Funny they complained about a country going to hell in the 60s.. and look at it now.. i think every generation thinks the country it going to hell

the way thay shot the scene when thay were taking acid with the two girls was brilliant. i did some acid trips, thay really captured the mood and vibe of how acid can make everything feel

One of my all time favorites!! Peter, Dennis, Jack,all legends! That scene of Peter paciently put all notes in the tube,paves the way to a great ride,and when he tosses the watch to the ground, always gets me, I really don't know why

Peter and Dennis were in six movies altogether and in the Easy Rider movie. The movie caused a feud between the two that was never resolved.The feud was about money and credit.😮😮

My Favorite Film❤️

This is a very good movie, I have the 30th anniversary edition on DVD, and later versions include a booklet, that state a United Kingdom University course is taught about the content of this fine film. You have to watch it several times to get the gist of this film, but it is there, plain to see and appreciate. I must have seen this movie nearly 50 times, and it is still powerful now, as it was back in its day. Peter, Dennis, and Jack really did themselves proud with this movie. Watch this movie carefully, do not dismiss any scene, because there is subliminal content in the visuals, and vocabulary which tell it like it really is.

My teachers couldn't believe I knew so many cool movies. They said you were not even around yet. Hahahaha. They will never make movies as cool as back then anymore.
