Hey folks! I thought I’d just pop on to show you a really quick and easy caramel recipe :) This has so many uses, but today I’ve used shortcrust pastry cases and turned the caramel into little tarts. Everything I used will be listed below,

Makes enough caramel for 12-20 tarts (depending on the size of your pastry cases)
* 100g (3.5 oz) Soft brown sugar
* 100g (3.5 oz) Unsalted butter
* 397g (14 oz) Standard can of sweetened condensed milk
* 2 Tablespoons golden syrup (use light corn syrup if you don’t have golden syrup)
* Shortcrust pastry cases
* Optional chocolate sprinkles
