Oh Yvonne…. If you where 2 hours away from me…I would be driving to get that BENCH AND CHAIR !!!❤️❤️. That Chair is identical to my 4 chairs that I bought for $45 , only mine are the side chairs without the arms…LOVE THEM…LOVE THEM !!! I kept looking at mine when you were sanding it and yes…the spindles, the legs, the spindles between the legs….only difference is mine have an engraved stamp on them that says “Pennsylvania House” / June 8, 1980 . You would have noticed that on the underside of the seat if it had it. That Bench is a dream! Probably both pieces are gone ! LOL !!! The black is so, so classy and elegant. Love it over the wood. Some woods, YES, need to stay wood because of patina, but not these 👍👍 Hugs to you ! 🍁🍁❤️🍁🍁

I'd take the bench and chair in an instant. We have 4 patios, acre lot. Need seating! Im about to try making a hall tree. None for sale here even new?The one I have for guests at front door all my jackets and sweaters end up on on it! I want one in bedroom. We have plenty of closets it's just where we retired is high desert southern calif between 2 large mountain ranges so the temp ranges are wide all year all day! Constantly changing my jackets and sweaters!

What a deal you got on that chair. It looked much like a Windsor chair n if you try to buy one today it will cost. It turned out beautiful. I have a thing for different styles of chairs n I if I saw that I too would of bought it in a heartbeat. The bench looks good black I have to admit as much as I love my oak. On the hall trees you’ve inspired me to redo my antique one. Always look forward to your videos. I think your the best out there for remaking old into new. ♥️♥️♥️♥️😊👍🌟

Hi Yvonne! The bench is a beauty, and so is the chair. You know so well how to evaluate wood and come up with a plan, whether it's solid, mdf, veneer, or whatever. My favorite hall tree is the one to which you added the metal tacks -- great solution (thinking laterally again!).
