If you're doing this with a zombie spawner be sure to put 2 slabs so that you're only hitting the zombies through the half block gap. This will keep baby zombies from slipping through and killing you during AFK farming!

I've been playing since alpha but still hopeless when it comes to mob stuff, this video was super easy to follow. Found a zombie and skelly spawner next to each other, made 2 of these rooms and used water to get the mobs together. It works perfectly, thank you for the video!

at first i thought building a farm would be hard and would take upa lot of materials, but this amazing fellow made it simple without taking up too much time and recourses wasted, thank you so much dude!!
Note: if you're playing in 1.17, replace the entire floor with something that isn't a stone variant like wood planks, or else glow squids and axolotls spawn
i have a question i built the thing but when 1 skeleton goes in the hole the others cant get in unless i kill that one skeleton then another one comes in and do u know how to fix that problem?

Hmm. I think this design will work better if you add wolf to kill faster the skeletons rather than use a weak weapon, especially in the beggining of a new world. Thanks for the tutorial Kmond ❤️ Glad to hear you again.
U earned a sub 100%. it took me 15 min to get the materials and took 10 min to make da farm, now i have infinte bones for dogs, bonemeal, and best of all arrows
An extra benefit of this farm is, that the entity-limit per block (the technique used for meat grinders) is eventually beginning to axe off skeletons at a rapid rate. I made the hole in which they fall in 4 blocks deep, putting a slab on the hopper, and as I was working on the surroundings, I suddenly heard alot of skellies spontaniously dying. So, when you're not using it (for xp), but you remain in the general area, it will start producing bone/arrow/bows automatically. Now I just need to look up how to sort away the bows, which then get funneled into a Furnace as fuel for cobblestone -> stone.
The farm is actually pretty quick! The amount of skeletons is terrifying in a hardcore world... Its amazing though! Almost died in the process but still lived!!
Works like a charm. If you sneak when the skeletons are clear, you can catch any xp gems that don't fly toward you. I also dug from the side to give me another angle to pick up drops. THANKS!
@@howlin2359 it didn't work for me the first time either because when you are 22 blocks below the spawner, the spawner is not in a loaded chunk. You should make a soulsand elevator so you can take the skeletons out without going too far from the spawner
if you want them to be sort of one hit go afk for like 2 minutes then you should hear them all take damage from entity cramming and one should die then kill them :)
Works perfectly! just made this skeleton farm and like 15 or more spawn in like a minute. I found skeleton spawn in mines beside a spider spawn. Both my farms are connected.

This tutorial is WAY easier because the addon on our server is when a mob spawn from a mob spawner they will not move and not attack you. And the spawner that i found is over at the surface. Thank You!
Thank you for this farm I needed xp for my enchantment table and now I have it. Edit: I made an adjustment, you can make the part where the skeletons are 3 wide it holds more skeletons that way
Tip: destroy 1 block in front of the double chest and stand there. The skeletons will try to shoot you but instead hits other skeletons so it basically becomes an AFK farm.
Working almost too well for me! Main modification is put a piece of carpet over the hopper so XP doesn't get stuck in it & mobs can't fall into it giving them a clear shot. I also added a 2nd hopper w/ carpet + trap door to ensure drops don't end up in my inventory. Bonus points would be a redstone circuit that toggles lights to disable the farm. Cheers.
@@kinghaus but luckily I found another skeleton in the mineshaft (And ofcourse the cave spider spawner but I don't like them so much so I destroyed it)
