Yesss! I've been waiting for this for so long! Please turn it into a series. One for students who can't cook(not pots and stove), one on a really low budget, one that's low calorie, one with recipes that take 15 minutes to make, one for foods to take to school for lunch. Never mind. You're already doing it. You're awesome
Wow---this is coming at the perfect time! No longer a student, but started a new job and feeling the time crunch. My motivation for cooking has been at an all time low. Even though the App has so much and is such a time saver, this was exactly the boost I needed to keep my motivation up! Thanks for all that you do
The thanks is all to you Hilary! Thanks for being open to making our recipes and thanks for your support with our app as well - so glad to hear you're enjoying it and that it's helping to make mealtimes more enjoyable 🥰 wishing you all the best at your new job!
I consider myself a good cook and I am not even vegan, but I absolutely love your channel, definitely my favourite. I never follow recipes but somehow you still managed to surprise me with new tips and tricks. Putting ready made noodles into hot water - tried it after you mentioned in a recent video and it’s a game changer! I used to put them directly to the pan and they would always break apart. Today you surprised me with meal prepping oats! I would have never thought of having it prepared this way for meal prep, even though I’m not the biggest oats fan, I think it’s genius! Keep up the hard work 😊
Just made the Buffalo Chickpea sandwich for dinner! I didn’t have celery but it was still delicious! Love these quick and easy lunch ideas. My 12 year old is using the PUL app to learn how to cook so this is perfect!
Android user so thrilled the app is coming. I think this quick recipe guide is key to making this lifestyle sustainable. I got to have a quick easy recipe so I don't grab something unhealthy instead. Thank you for starting this series. 💚
Definitely! So glad it's helpful in some way, and the app will for sure make it even easier! Thanks for being excited about it with us, Jennifer - we'll make the wait worth it 🤗
In Denmark a stable breakfast is just oats with milk... No cooking just straight up oats and pour milk on them and if you feel a little naughty you pour sugar on top
I'm never busy nor am I a student, but simple and quick recipes are still so helpful! I get distracted or bored while preparing food and typically just want to stuff my face and move on with my day.
Pre-portioned oats with dried fruits is GENIUS! Easy to add fresh fruit to cook on the stove or overnight in the fridge. Why did I never think of this??
Sadia , I am loving the app! So many recipes and the app makes it very easy to follow the steps and end up with a perfect dish! Especially enjoying the shopping list feature! Thank you for all the hard work and time you and Robin poured into creating it for us!
🥹 messages like this make my day, Tonya, thank you!! So glad to hear that the step-by-step cooking guide in the app + grocery list are making cooking a breeze. Thanks so much for your support!
My 12YO son watched with me and was intrigued! He loves to eat and is starting to become interested in preparing food. I’d love to see more basic/beginner ones to help him learn, and how to try veggies in different ways to see how he likes them!
Apart from the awesomeness of it all: The way you used a peeler to cut the cabbage? Genius!!!!!! I will try this right away! It usually takes me soooooo long to chop it into thin, long bits. Thank you!!!!
I love the way you describe ingredients! I work in food service at a hospital and I'm learning more about the benefits of the foods we are serving patients :)
I was inspired to study in Food and nutrition from you. Oh God I didn't realized how hard it is It's crazy hard I don't know what kinda Dietitian I will be I hope a good one
Another option for cooking oats is pouring boiling water over it, and covering the bowl with a plate. Leave it for maybe 10 mins and it'll be ready to eat! I mix a little plant milk in afterwards
Sadia.. you always brilliant 🔥 In 2019, you inspired me to start a minimalist lifestyle that I keep and enjoy to this day (I now have 2 kids). You continue to inspire me with meal prepping - I’m not even a vegan but absolutely love your recipes. All so fire and easy to make at home, asian home included. And today - you answered my “century old” question about overnight oats 😹😹😹 So, now I think I’m gonna stock up some oats for more nutritious breakfast. Always love your content and YOU. Keep doing what you do 🔥
I would really love to see a video from you discussing the process you went through to move to the Netherlands, starting a business in the Netherlands, and how/what you studied to Naturalize.
Sadia, you are the best, as a student in Hungary who is on a budget, doesn't have much cooking equipement and horrible at cooking, your recipes are very easy and your videos are so nice to follow, thank you so much❤
Finally someone that says that not everyone has the time to cook oats in the morning😂 when you talked about the ingredients and their properties was very educational, thank you❤
The fact that they are meal prep-friendly makes it even better for busy days. Love how practical and tasty these meals look - perfect for students on the go. Thanks for sharing these budget-friendly and time-saving ideas! Excited to try them out during my next semester!
I love love love your dry ranch mix. It has been a game changer for me with meal prep. I regularly keep pickled red onions on hand, so when i want to make ranch dressing or dip, i add vegan mayo and a splash of pickled red onion vinegar from the together with the dry ranch mix for a quick and awesome dressing/dip. I feel like id lobe the buffalo chickpea sandwich. I like making chickpea salad sandwiches but hadn't thought to make a buffalo sauce version. Thanks for the inspiration!
This video is so helpful! Im eager to make some of these recipies! Especially the noodle dish 😍 thank you for putting you hard work into this what you love: these delicious recipies! 😊
Really miss the frequent video posts. I know the business has changed for PUL but it was nice to get frequent video updates. The shorts and Instagram stuff just isn't the same but again, I understand why it is trending that way. Thanks.
Her chickpea Caesar wrap is delicious also. It's also very quick to make. Less than 10 minutes. I also recommend chickpea tuna. Quinoa tabbouleh is good in wraps or on bread, but if you are crunched for time, it's not as quick. I am lucky where I can get the quinoa tabbouleh from my local health food store but I know not everyone has that option.
Hey Sadia and the Pick Up Limes team! I was wondering if you could do a video about food to eat (+ recipes?) when you have PCOS . I'm struggling with the symptoms and the information online is overwhelming and sometimes also contradicting. Thank you so much!
Have been following this channel for at least 5 years now and I'm so excited to see it grow! Can't wait to try the app when it comes for android as well😢❤
I watch your video for the first time. I was enjoying the whole video and I like kimchi udon noodles recipes. You made healthy and delicious. I am not student. This is useful in my busy day.
I really love this ! And I’ve being enjoying the app so much! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I’m so proud as I watch you through the years and this is a so grown up PUL ❤️ I wanted to make a suggestion. As there’s so many recipes and sometimes it could feel overwhelming to choose. I’d love to see some kind of a menu for a week or the weekend, maybe seasonal. Just a gentle suggestion as a faithful follower 🫶🏻 keep growing, you’re doing amazing!
Hi Sadia, I just moved to Asia and there are NO OVENS!!! And I poor so I can't be fancy with all that jazz of food processors and stuff. Thank you for this recipe! If you are looking for a video idea, please make more videos on Wok cooking and meals that can all be prepped with two burners....... I need some serious help.
I've never had any problems with oatmeal in the morning, just the first thing you do is pour boiling water over the flakes of a long cooking and maybe a little cream, and then goes to do your morning meals and after 10 minutes, just put it on the fire and let it boil. It's ready and you've been standing at the stove for about a minute and you have a hot breakfast, which is especially important in my region when you'll be outside -20°C for the next 30 minutes. The last thing I want is cold porridge from the refrigerator or the taste of the microwave
This is the video I needed desperately. I was so happy during the whole video but now I've to wait for the Android version to get it. Never been so desperate for an app. Robin is under a lot of pressure haha
@auue23 Me too- tree nuts [ie walnuts, hazelnuts, pecans, almonds] make me vomit. Bananas too. I get sad when a lit of her vids have smoothies w/ bananas or meals have nuts . I also don’t tolerate coconut and avocado so it’s a challenge to think how to substitute ‘coconut’ milk or ‘cashew’ milk for sone recipes
Thank you for all your amazing recipes and cool channel! I recently got diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Would love to see some low glycemic recipes, especially breakfast ideas! I’ve been eating a lot of yogurt with berries lately. ❤
I’ve never heard of anyone cooking porridge (oats) with sugar in it before watching this video - you could definitely follow this recipe and just remove the sweetener! (However, I’d definitely recommend adding things like raisins, fresh fruit, apple purée or something else sweet for serving.)
Love your videos Sadia! I was wondering if you could do a video dedicated to naturally gluten free food? Often gluten free alternatives to things like bread and pasta are super processed and contain non-vegan ingredients or things that are really bad for the environment like palm oil (not to mention they often taste awful!). It would be great to have recipes where we don't have to look for substitutions. Thank you!!
