Make fine hair look voluminous. Give limp hair body for days! And do it without the torture you usually put your hair thru. Or have you all but given up? Come on…you’ve got this!
I love watching you everyday. It’s like watching a friend just going on with her day to day life. The person who doesn’t like watching you everyday…..well, don’t watch !
Please don’t listen to those negative people!! I look forward to your videos everyday! I don’t care what you’re doing. I enjoyed the hike, you making recipes, doing yard work, or just having tea to recap the week! I feel like I’m visiting a friend. 💕
Thanks for the video! I learned some things❤. Also, I don’t know who said it’s kinda boring watching you do your daily thing, but totally disagree. Each day I check to see if you have any new videos.
Margaret you are never boring. From referring to your fine hair as having erectile dysfunction to watching you get bowled over by your hair dryer, I laughed so hard. 😂 Lucy and Ethel and Margaret. ❤
I even get annoyed when i miss the short clips you put out. I really don't care if one or two others may think you're boring. Please don't stop making only two per week. It's what the majority think and I like MOST others LOVE your channel. PS: "E disfunction of the hair" 😂🤣
Everyone of us has something in common with you so we look forward to seeing you everyday. We didnt know how funny we are.You are wonderful and you are loved so keep on keeping on.
Margaret l am not sure what type of people are watching your videos but it does sound like some people do not know about the saying "if you don't have something nice to say, then say nothing ",so if they don't enjoy the video just simply turn it off.l am guessing that you receive more positive feedback than negative l understand that we all have different reasons for watching but hey YOU HAVE NEVER CLAIMED THAT YOUR VIDEOS WERE INTENDED TO BE ROCKET SCIENCE so come on people lighten up and enjoy this marvelous lady whocan put a smile on your face. Thanks for another great video Margaret 😊
Just LOVE your practical approach to life, Margaret, it's so refreshing & uplifting, thank you for being you & sharing so generously of yourself...your an absolute tonic! Plus, I LOVE listening to your accent, I log in from Ireland just to hear that rich accent!! Happy Easter to one & all☘️☘️
I like your hair and I think you do an excellent job with the thin texture you have. I truly like it better than an "organized" hairdo that some women have that are our age. Love your free spirited hair style!! That's what I strive for, too. No structured hairstyle for me! Thank you for sharing, Margaret! I love following you!
Love your videos. Makes me feel like I'm actually talking to a friend. If people think you have too many videos, well they don't have to watch. Simple. Further more I am your age n I still like messy big hair. Don't listen to other people if they don't like your hair. You like it n it's your hair. 👍
I have the same type of hair. I had an excellent stylist in R I that cut my hair so I could easily manage it. Well, I moved to Florida and I haven’t been able to find anyone that can cut my hair to my satisfaction, so I let it grow, and grow until it became long enough to wear it in a nana-bun. A bun isn’t my favorite style, but with the humidity here my grays become Brillo pad like while the rest hangs limply. So, I wore the bun with bangs for a few years and now I’m trying to let the bangs grow out which is making me nuts. I’m so tempted to cut it short like yours….
Good video, great detail. About doing something a different way, what you said is so true. Once for an unknown reason or change I decided to enter and sleep on the other side of the bed. Normally, I enter the bed's left side and sleep on my right side facing toward the center. When I tried the other side of the bed my brain was so discombobulated it took a few moments to figure it out and get in to sleep on my left side facing toward the center; in the morning it just as confusing to get out.
From Your RU-vid Family, I'll will keep writing and tell you what a Miracle that Mouse does on flat completely straight hair!! And your secret of just massaging the roots almost ins a circle and not touching the ends. My hair stayed like that and I didn't have to do a thing for 3 or 4 days. I have never had that before either. I was afraid to wash my hair, would I be able to do it again and get the same great results! Yes, Yes, Yes, I am soooooo shocked how easy to do it and what a DRASTIC change it did to my hair. I have struggled for years and years with my hair the day I wash it and the day after, it's usually the 3rd day that it isn't flat anymore and that is with tons of hair spray. Not so just mouse and drying it upside down. You will forever be my "Hair Hero". You solved something I struggled with for most of my lifetime , I am the 78 year old, so no exaggeration, lifetime of hating to wash my hair, gone now because of your sharing your Skills with us! Love ya to the moon and back! Kathleen!!
My name is Margaret! And crazy old lady is starting to be me. I'm 70. I've been chintzy with the mousse because I didn't want it to look crappy. I will have to try upping my game!
I love the hair and you got it to look that way, Margaret! It looks cute. Thank you for the mousse tip. Gotta buy some of that stuff. See you next time. 💕💕💕
You are such a down to earth person. I just love the way you are willing to show all your eccentricities. After I watch I think a lot about my daily routine and how it would look to others. 😂🤪
Oh your not boring at all I love your helpful hints my hair is fine and thin 😟 post as much as you like , it’s a real tonic , thanks for all your hard work . 🌷
Hair looks awesome. Always love the 'messy look' dos. I, for one, will watch you if you do a video every day. I have never been bored not one time. Like someone else said, it's like being with a friend. I'm pretty much a non-judgmental person - so I would never bring up unfolded clothes or things on the countertops....these things are life. I always am curious as to 'what is Margaret up to today'. If you did only two videos a week, I would be sad, but also I would understand and be grateful for the two videos. By the way - loved the hike video, altho you did make me nervous a couple of times.
Ohh no not less Margaret I love it when I see your on yesterday? Was so funny about your day with deaf lady ,you express yourself so well and your hilarious, love you as person ❤❤❤❤
Hi Margaret. I just subscribed to your channel on the recommendation of Nanny from "Crushing their 80s, Nanny and the Moose". I really enjoyed your advice for fine, straight hair. Keep up the good advice!
Thanks for the advice I'm not so sure I have limp hair but I have a cowlick in the back that I have a hard time covering up LOL I will definitely try that, love your videos and don't miss any of them since I've discovered you bless you today❤
Your hair looks great I’m just going to try it out now and put more moose in. Thankyou Margret you are so helpful to us older ladies. Also loved the video and when you are thinking of retiring I can relate to it all 😊😊
I like all your videos Margaret...I esp enjoy the hair videos and all the hair tips..they've helped me get a better result when I blow dry my hair. Your channel will grow so hang it there...it may seem slow going but eventually it will grow exponentially.
I love all of your videos Margaret and I look for you every day, I would miss you if you released only two videos a week, but completely understand that you are a busy lady. But I’d love it if you kept it at more regular videos 💖
I am another person who enjoys watching your channel. Not boring for me. I think you are a real character, and you make me smile. Thank you Margaret. Jo from Australia
I can’t stand the washed and set look, I personally think the way you have your hair Margaret is perfect and trendy Thank you too Margaret for your professional advise of how to achieve the look.
Viagra for hair... hysterical! Margaret do you know anything about shedding? Recently had covid, and couple that with an autoimmune disease, I’ve lost so much hair. Seems to be leveling off now. Does any shampoo make a difference? Ever heard of rice water? Not asking for a cure, but as a hairdresser you must have come across people who’ve experienced this.
Thanks for the Moose idea!! I have poker straight hair too and hate it flat. What kind of moose do you recommend?? Your the best! Love watching you, Waiting for that pretty candle in the background or flowers on that back dresser as soon as you put those clothes away : )))) - Yes I commented before on that back dresser. It's only to help you go BIG! and get millions viewing Margaret being Margaret - Don't change you just the background (giggle-giggle)
From the back, it looks like you have plenty of hair! Lifelong thin, baby fine hair here, and now it is thinning even more. I so enjoyed this video and your advice. What brand of mousse do you use or do you recommend? i must get some soon. BTW, I'm here upon the recommendation of Nanny from Nanny and Moose. Looking forward to catching up on your videos. Blessings!
Just wondering Margaret , I do like your hairstyle but I am wondering if you are like me with the same type of hair as you, do you ever wear a wig now and then, just for special occasions ?
I akways thought the products in my fine hair made them oilier quicker....... I might have been wrong all this time. Hate to wash it every day.....my hairdresser says it gets oilier the more you wash it..... i'm so confused. What are your thoughts on that?😊
I've found that having a perm these days is like rolling dice. Expensive & most often ends up looking crappy. In the old days, hairdressers knew how to give perms. Now the young girls are so adept with curling irons they just do their hair every morning & don't seem to be bothered by the time it takes. But I really miss those great perms I used to get & had what looked like naturally curly hair all the time between the perms.
@@lynda9241 OK, now I understand. My hair has grown finer & thinner as I've grown older. So THAT'S why my perms end up looking like straw, LOL. Now I understand. Thanks.
@@MargaretbeingMargaret Sorry, it didn’t look like you did. I am 72 and I lost a good of my hair-- which leaves me with not much to work with. I’m going to my hairdresser tomorrow. I don’t think she knows what to do with it either. She wants to cut it very short. I just don’t know. Any advice? Also, I don’t have oilhair
I find that if you leave it around 5-6 inches long on top and go short on the sides it looks pretty good. secret is lots of mousse and minimal “playing “ with it.
