You are going to love the double sided texture in this quick-to-make Easy Textured Dishcloth crochet pattern! Dishcloths are a wonderful item to crochet! They don't typically use up a lot of yarn, you can mix and match colours, and they are fairly quick to work up making them a great gift for a friend or for your own self around the home.

Skill Level: Easy
Gauge: 15 stitches x 17 rows of pattern = 4 inches
Finished Size: Approximately 8 x 8 inches
Yarn: Pima Cotton by Lion Brand® (186 yds/170 m; 100g/3.5 oz; 100% cotton; (4) worsted weight). You will need approximately 150 yards per dishcloth.
Hook: Size H/8 (5 mm) hook.

I don't make wash or dish cloths but I'm probably going to use this stitch for a baby blanket since it doesn't have large gaps. Thank you

Yep. I like this for a scarf, actually. I work almost exclusively in cotton because I live in Mexico--and cotton yarn is not only readily available but cheap, too. (Compared to the U.S.) AND, I like it for baby blankets, too. I haven't DONE those yet, but I'm betting they'd be quite attractive,

The texture of this stitch it terrific! I don’t like puff stitches or baubles per se, but the kind of raised texture created by stitches like this is something that tickles me. Still struggle with those backwards guys like the reverse crochet, but I will persevere! Thanks, as always!

This is so pretty thank you so much . I am making wash clothes to go i our Christmas shoe boxes at church we put a bar of soap in the center and wrap them up and tie with ribbon . For sure going to make these it is nice to have a new pattern ❤

This is a great stitch combo! I like it much better than the even moss stitch dishcloths I’ve done before. The first row is a little fiddly, but after that it goes quickly.

😂 Wash cloth -Dish cloth - whatever cloth 🤣 it doesn’t matter sweet heart! 🤣. Here in New York 🗽 we interchange our words too. I think 🤔 especially us women , with so much that is on our plates with do that with many things, I do it with my kids names 🤣 it’s a universal language darling!
