@@sparkleskye5209 when you buy a security door it comes with top bar and sides, i got 2 doors so i used one of the side bars cut it to size and installed on top, you can also get a 1 by 1 square tubing at metal supply

You had to weld small cylinders into the security top bar for the side locks to go in to, right? 2:16 show a small cylinder shape welded and 2:01 doesn't show one at all.

Yes, just on the top, I actually use a small socket it was the only thing that i could find the rigth size, on the bottom I just drilled out a hole since my doors already had an aluminum frame, I got this locks on Amazon and they didn't come with the cylinders

Hello, Can you suggest security door options for French door that swings open outside?

What I did one time, i removed the French doors from the frame and just added 2 security doors completely seal from the inside, you will still see the mesh on the outside but the inside is covered

@@diymaker7373 What kind of blade u use for angle grinder? also what size opening did u have? what kind of bolts u use to attach frame of door at beginning?

@@Eastbaypisces hey bro.the blade it's a 4-1/2 cutting wheel you can get those at home depot, the opening it's 72 inch so I got two 36 inch doors, and the bolts they come with the door also a socket tool its included

@@diymaker7373 Sorry was inquiring the total size of opening that you placed the doors in. Then I can figure out the correct sizes I might need. I priced double security doors and they are in the thousand dollar range. Im in California
