You have used Syco Woofer & Tweeters, are those speakers good? Are those easily available in the market? What will be dimension of the port tube? I have tried nylon (polyester) wool, it works well. But I must say glass wool is more efficient.

Yes, for sealed enclosures it's very much required. For ported enclosure with thinner board it reduces internal reflection and panel vibration. For thicker material it's not much necessary

No, it's ok. You have to connect the speakers through cross over network. Full power of low frequency goes to Woofer and less power to midrange, tweeter. If necessary, you can shift cross over point as required.
Synthetic or glass wool is used to reduce internal reflection of sound waves. Port is used to eliminate resonance peaks. Please find some articles in net to know about speaker enclosure design.
SYCO is my own brand. At present I make very small quantity of speakers mostly for experimental purpose. Plastic moulded ports of different diameters are available in market. If not, you can use pvc water pipes. Thanks.
