Hey there! Csipetke means pinched, that means you have to pinch a little from the “ flattened dough with your thumb and index finger! Don’t roll the dough and then cut it! That’s how it’s done! Try it!
Dude. I see you're really not a bastard and I find it really cool that you're making csipetke but I really need to correct a few things here. First of all. You don't call it csipetkA but csipetkE , E for ecstasy. Second of all goulash is always called goulash by everyone that was not born and raised in hungary but we call it 'gooyash' which actually is the hungarian term for cowboy. Last but not least my dad told me I'd be a fool if I'd boil csipetkE(!) for long cause it's gonna be like rubber. Once u drop it in the boiling hot water it's enough to leave it there for just a minute or two. Overall you ain't a bastard and you made me smile. Thank you!
+Juhász Istvan Thanks for the tips -- I have a hard enough time pronouncing my own name, let alone Hungarian. :) You should hear how a butcher the pronunciation of Nokedli -- They did come out nicely, similar to the ones i had in Hungary. (and the ones I was taught to make at a cooking class in Budapest. Thanks for watching.
