I hope you enjoy this video and see what you think of these orange thins as I have decided to call them for now, give me your ideas in the comments. lovefoodies.co...
Thank goodness for the kindness of strangers! Your biscuits/cookies look delicious. Your videos just wouldn't be the same without Tilly's comments in the background 😸
I've never used a silicone mat before, but I think with soft honey cookies, buttering the cookie sheet would make them release better. Very nice tea time treat! The fresh orange flavor sounds lovely!
I have never used a silicone mat either, I use baking paper to line biscuit trays or cake pans when I bake. I am sure your orange biscuits will be greatly appreciated.
That so nice that they didn't charge you! I'm sure they'll love the orange thins 😊 I followed a recipe for fresh apple "cookies" recently and had the same kind of floppy cakey results. Still tasty but not what I would call a cookie 😂
They look nice. I'm sure they will be appreciated. I have a talking cat too - trouble is he just won't shut up, even when I'm on the phone he has to join in. The only time he stops is if I sit down and he can get on my lap or when he sleeps on top of me in bed ! very cute, but can be a teensy bit irritating at times !
That's an awful lot of honey for 18 biscuit thingies! I might give this a go but use less honey - it should come out more biscuit like! But many thanks for the inspiration - I rescued the juice from 3 oranges - two of which was turning on the outside and froze it. Now I know what I'll use it for!
You can't taste the honey in the finished cookie. But you did make me wonder, I did find this www.cathydiep.com/sugar-to-honey-substitute/ From what I read you would need to add about 2cups of sugar and then add more liquid, have look and see what you think 🤔
