My brother used to work with Saudia Airlines and count among his co workers men from Thailand. He spoke some Thai and fell in love with their food , especially tom yum. Thanks for the recipe. The ingredients are available here in Texas south border but the restaurants don't do the cuisine justice. The owners are Thai but the cooks are from across the border thus communication was a challenge. Pity. So my brother and I had tried . It's not galangal that was hard to source but Keffir lime leaves. Upon request plus begging , a young and accommodating son of a Korean grocery owner now regularly have it in stock, plus the special mushrooms .We will cook our own authentic Thai dishes , thank you everyone at YT.
Thank you both! For everything and we miss fun times with you guys. Much love to you both as well from P&P 😁 Hope we can meet again no matter what country, let's see 🙂
I only used to try tom yum kung. It was creamy and red. I am confident I will like your version much better. Looks light and aromatic I can't wait to try! Thanks Pam.
Pam your channel is an absolute goldmine of recipes, When I was in thailand I had amazing chicken noodle soups with the chilli fishsauce seasoning on the side.. ALSO my favourite in bangkok markets were those delicious salted and grilled asian carp with the rice and that green dipping sauce and thai basil. Can you show how to make the noodle soup and the fish?
