I may have done it subconsciously, without really thinking about like this. Thanks for the tip (that's what she said), definitely going to be using this. Also might be a good idea to lose a couple more battles after dropping down, if you have more than a few wins there so you don't jump straight back up losing out on those easy wins.

These videos are all about advanced champions that hardly anyone can catch up to, none of these youtubers have ever made real videos, for beginners to the game, when I say beginners to the game I mean beginners with low champs, and every player of the game, who starts to collect strong champions, it is easy to sell milk boza, this is how it should be. Show how to get some higher progress, with smaller champions, how to get the first champion with 6*, but where to increase XP, in Normal or Hard Campaign, because a beginner can't immediately go to Brutal Campaign, and there to raise champions, like many of you youtubers selling boza, in Brutal it was mostly XP, and silvers, but until you get to that stage, where new players can earn most XP and silvers. Unfortunately, this is the truth with those who record on RU-vid, and earn diamonds, and nothing is really explained. It's all over the internet, finding something interesting for beginners, but not explained enough, everyone talks about that Brutal map, 12-3 or 12-6, but by the time you get there, it's a lot of effort. And when we get stronger champions, and no one has to help us, when with strong champions, battles are easily won.

This is a good strat for people who cannot babysit the refresh most of the day. There seems to be zones in Gold V. Some zones have a lot of one man defenses. Other zones do not. So as I go up and down in Gold V, there is a huge difference in the number of fights I can win. I set me defense to a one man all the time. By reset day, I am so far into Gold V that I cannot lose enough matches to miss the chest.

I’m in this exact position except I’m sitting on enough to get a gold lvl 10 in the great hall. I will however be able to continue in tier 5 to keep getting gold to help with the rest of the great hall. The single 1 man defences have allowed me to stay there. Very helpful video! Just keep going up and down to tier 4 and 5 awesome stuff!

using 3 tokens to drop a level. Now that's maximising your tokens lmao. If you hadn't used gems (I know it was for the video), you would have waited for another 15 mins anyway. Probably better to end end each day by refreshing the arena, so you can see what one/s you can do when you next log on. Start your day by checking your advanced quest log, if you are of sufficient level, to see what arena mission is there (near bottom on list) then start with arena, including arena mission, if appropriate. Do as many as you can then do a few other dailies. Come back and refresh. Do whatever battles you can then go do some more dailies and end with arena. Do whatever else you planned to do in arena and end your day with an arena refresh. Rinse and repeat every day. That goes for your 3x3 too. That's how you maximise your time/tokens imo.

I did this early game. I would add that, I always made sure I left myself far enough into gold 5 to get the stats bonus, even if I lost a couple of defences.

Don't you lose the arena tokens if you lose the fight? If you win 2, then lose 2, aren't you effectively halving your daily arena refills? Whereas, if you win every fight (mainly fighting the 1 man defence), you can potentially get 100 gold medals per day in gold 5. Have I missed the point?

You are correct. The only problem with this is that it takes a long time. So if you have tons of hours to play everyday, then yes absolutely be patient and try to win all fights.

I’m in the exact same situation. I even have a 1-man defense. Still in gold 5 just from the easy-win 1 man teams.

Ever since I got to Gold 5 I've kept Arbiter as my only defense most of the time and love to abuse that rank change free reset! I have a decent speed team with an 85% win rate but having just that 1 champ defense helps a ton to always stay right near the cutoff point. The only time I put an actual defense in is on reset day because I was never sure if that would screw me out of the G5 chest. Using this tactic I typically get around 1000-1500 medals in between cvc's depending on if I don't have time to use all my coins every day.

So you keep the medals you win.. you don't lose medals with loses. Cool.. but what about you win ratio? Dies having more wins help in any way?

my FTP is in the same exact spot, but I'm about 150 arena wins in front. I can't wait to finish the fusion and then get Arbiter...and then wait for 6 months to thave the lego books

I'm in the same position but halfway through getting level 8 great hall. Level 9 and 10 will be a nightmare but at least when they're done, they're done forever. I'm not planning on getting the other legendary. Just want my arbiter.

I almost hit gold five in arena on my ftp. Mortu has helped me out a ton and I’m winning a lot of battles. I just fight against slow comps

I have never done this. I won 99% of my arena fights last year. I had 12859 wins. I fight one man teams, any team under 200k power. Any team where the person has less than 3 million player power. If they use a double speed team I make sure I am also using a double speed team. I try to get between 30-40 wins per day.

I used to lose on purpose on My first days on the account when i could not use all the refills so i demoted and could win some battles and not waste arena tokens

Did that a long time ago, when I was winning way more fights in gold 1 than gold 2, but currently you can only loose 25 def battles per ingame day in gold and there are a lot of 1 champ defenses (including mine) in gold 5 so it is not needed to use this trick if you just do your fights (up to 39 per day for free).

so it's not rly about having good arena teams, but about having time or wanting to do a few refreshes a day for the medals. you don't even need to do every free fight to stay in the same tier

Seems pointless. If you use gems in gold 4 to get the fights. Just use the gems in gold 5 and do the same thing. Way more 1 man defenses in gold 5 than 4

You say it your self , get to the point. It took 6 minutes to get to the point of the video ; )I thought you were just going to say "1 man defenses" or something. Losing fights on purpose bro ? You lose tokens , its not efficient. 1 man defenses are the way to go, yes you will get attacked 10 times but after that you will be removed from the pool and wont lose any points. That means if you win 10 games a day you will be higher than what you were before. If you win more , you will be even higher and can afford to lose when you put the 1 man defenses up again. This is exactly what I do and I too stay at the bottom of g5 but when I farm , I climb 100-200 points easily since I'm facing 1 man defenses & easier teams.
