Blend the very soften cream cheese first with mixer!! In a different make the pudding. When the pudding is pudding, blend with cream cheese by slowly adding pudding to cream cheese with electric mixer
Yes, soften and whip cream cheese first, but take a large paper plate make a slit from center to one edge. Put the beaters in the center of the plate and it will deflect the splatters.
You can also let your cream cheese get to room temperature before mixing. It will mix better without the lumps. I am going to try this. It looks delish.
I hope you plan to do an ice cream cake eventually. I've seen them with vanilla and chocolate ice cream in between the layers. So delicious. Great for summer.
You can put a paper plate on the beaters when putting them on, the plate will cover the bowl as mixing to keep from splashing if you're worried about the messes.
The 4th of July is about our independence from England. Memorial Day is a time to remember our military men that lost their lives fighting for our freedom to think we’re free.
Oh yes, good point. All these holidays can get confusing for all of us at times, and the younger generations have it even harder because schools don’t teach about the Constitution, Bill Of Rights etc., etc., like they did when I was in school in the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s. They special meaning of the holidays have been lost to just a time to get drunk and drug up. Sad! 👋🏻😊🧑🦳
Ryan, I noticed that your joints on your hands & fingers are dark. I used to have this also. I had an endocrinologist tell me that these darkened areas at joints & often around your neck are signs of insulin intolerance. My daughter also has it. Please ask your doctor as this gives you a higher risk of type 2 diabetes & I believe can be addressed by your physician. It could mean adding years to your life & avoiding diabetes for decades. 🙏❤️ Your dessert looks wonderful. You're an inspiration to watch young man!!!
I am Definitely going to make this desert!! About the cream cheese, you want to leave it out of the fridge let it get nice and soft blend it then add the milk and pudding😊
When you put on the strawberries you were pretty sloppy at it, it would have looked better if you would have placed them in rows. Would have looked like an American flag. But that won't change the taste. This is a delicious dessert.
Looks yummy😊 Have you tried to do all the mixing in a blender instead of a bowl? It could cut down on the splatter, and it would be easier to pour out😊
The pudding has to be form into pudding first. The room temperature cream cheese added to the form pudding. Otherwise you got a mess. But it looks like a delicious moderation dessert.
*Room temp cream cheese! *Blend it in the bowl First! ***Then. *Mix the pudding and milk in a steel bowl that has been in the freezer for an hour. *Slowly add the vanilla pudding while blending it on top of another bowl of ice cubes! ***Then! ADD the vanilla pudding to the cream cheese, mixing slowly!
Too bad Twinkies don't taste they used to, especially back in the 80's. Always makes me feel sad when Egon uses the Twinkie example in "Ghostbusters", those were the days..
I wil try this but probably use Bird's custard powder which is what they use in the UK. Looks good, but I will use real whipping cream. Don't like Cool whip.
Too time-consuming for a quick dessert. Also the ice crystals in 2 percent milk will slow down the pudding getting firm. Thicken the pudding then add cream cheese to avoid splattering.
If I was serving this to Military personnel I would have made sure that the strawberries and blueberries were much more decorative on top. Halving the strawberries would have made them a whole lot neater ti place than his was. Sloppy. I would not have served this to those military personnel.
