Hey mate wondering if you could tell me how I would go about adding a completely seperate power point, is it just a matter of piggy backing off the existing one in the room or have I got to run new wires down from the roof?

Possibly the more you have plugged into it. The circuit breaker should trip if there is any issue.

@351HOON yeah mate, call an electrician and they'll easily be able to do this job for you, it's not worth you doing it yourself as it can be dangerous and you're insurance wont cover you if you burn the house down if you're not competent.
