Vegetarians can eat eggs for those who don't know, there are certain Vegetarians that act similar to Vegans but majority still eat eggs, milk, and cheese etc. Primarily it is meat products that are excluded. Vegans take a more ideological stance about the meat and food industry.
Most Vegetarians don't eat eggs but do eat other dairy products like cheese and milk and many more but not eggs In my country those who eat eggs only are kind of called eggetarians lol weird ikhm
@Cat Cat Indians literally have curry with eggs... they also do eat eggs. What are you talking about? Obviously, there are many different regions of people in india, but people there do eat eggs. I get that the terminology may confuse some, but vegetarians just don't eat meat. They can raise their chickens for eggs and not slaughter them and have cows/goats for milk and dairy products. There are variants of vegetarianism, but it still is vegetarianism. Not something else. Veganism is the thing people keep confusing this with because vegans do not eat any animal products whatsoever. There are people who only eat fruits too and no vegetables really but that is still a form of vegetarianism.
@Rav That is a Lacto-Vegetarian and Ovarian-Vegetarian split. Eggitarian is just some fused phrase people use, but it doesn't change the fact that it's still classified as vegetarianism. I have grown up in a primarily vegetarian culture, too, and people mix these things up a lot and start labeling it with phrases to try and be different. It is true many do not eat eggs, but there are many that do, it is not a "majority don't" this world has many different people and cultures.
Why do Chinese food have to be cooked using MSG. I love the Chinese food but the problem is I have a high blood pressure and can not eat food containing MSG.! Any idea please.
It will be just fine. I’d recommend a dash of sugar if you want the taste closer to Hoisin sauce (which is what people sometime do while cooking this dish with oyster sauce)
You realize if you use high smoke point oil, you can drain it off and reuse it with out the same health issues from canola or vegetable oil which are the ones that are bad for you.
Most of the oil is drained off between and reused for flavor which is how high heat wok cooking is done. Only do this with a high smoke point oil or it becomes unhealthy. The final dish has a fraction of the oil.
Vegetarian cabbage.....proceeds to add egg💀💀💀💀 Edit; chill y'all in my country vegetarians only eat lentils, veggies, fruits, dairy products only , those who eat eggs are considered non vegetarian here
There are two kinds of vegetarian: Lacto-vegetarian and Ovo-vegetarian. The latter can eat eggs. Only vegans exclude all including dairy products and eggs.

It gets mostly drained off, high smoke point oil like peanut or sunflower can be drained and reused a few times with out harmful effects unlike canola-rapeseed oil or vegetable oils.
