I prefer to stick to traditional CSS/SCSS to create my transitions and animations, but this library looks pretty interesting. I will definitely be taking it for a spin :) Thank you!
Thank you for making awesome videos. I would like to learn how to make a small Vue component library. A button would be enough! I want to learn how these libraries were built.
thanks! gsap is also pretty dope. Liike all things programming, it ultimately comes down to requirements and preferences. Two of the biggest appeals of Motion One is its extremely small size (the core animate function is just 3.3kb and also the fact that it executes off the main JS thread, meaning that long synchronous functions will not cause the animations to lag!
Very cool lib !! But if the motion component has some nested other components ? For example a div or a list, it'd follow the parent component animation ?
The onMounted() function doesn't seem to work for me. Is this function deprecated? Note that I am using the function with a parameter props (this is necessary because the animation is different based on input). If this is not possible, how else would I use props with this kind of animation?
For the benefit of anyone born before 2010, what does "dope" mean? I thought it was street drugs or a dumb person. By the way, your videos are superb. You have the best grasp of Vue of anyone I've come across.
“Dope” has definitely been around for the last 20 years at least (with this particular connotation), and I’m saying that as a non-native speaker born in the ’80s ;P
