First off goddess this fro is gorgeous. Secondly, the float test is the most inaccurate test for porosity. Porosity is a behavior, and it's actually different all over your head. What is best, is to wet your hair in the shower with warm water, and take note on how long it takes your hair to feel heavy, and almost flatten out. Then after 2 rounds of shampoo, is the water still feeling heavy, or does it feel light. If it does, then you need a stronger shampoo, to fully remove the build up on the strand. Once the hair is fully cleansed, and conditioned properly, take notice on how the hair dries with no product. Then you'll know. Please also remember, that because your hair is grey/silver it is lacking melanin. Which makes it actually higher in porosity naturally, aka naturally dehydrated. This doesn't mean you need more oily rich products, you actually need the opposite, to make sure the strand is actually absorbing/retaining water. The definition was poppin too
