Walnut salt and pepper shakers are one of the best-selling products in my Etsy shop. Best of all is these shakers only take around 15 minutes to make from start to finish.
I start off with 8/4 walnut cut down to approximately 3 1/2 inches tall. The centers are drilled out with a 1 1/8" and 9/16" forsner bits.
The shakers are then turned round and finished off with homemade wood butter which is made from beeswax and food-grade mineral oil. The stoppers in the bottom are from Amazon I buy them in packs of 100.
